Hello steemians, how's everyone doing? I hope the weekend was good for Y'all guys. I went to an amazing art festival held in Mumbai every year. So I'm going to share this year's experience with it. Sit back, relax and get your popcorn with you cause this is gonna be very much interesting.

Kala Ghoda arts festival

So if you guys have followed me and checked my previous post you should know by now what Kala Ghoda is, if you don't know about it don't worry I'll explain again

Kala Ghoda art festival is one of the most popular amazing art festivals to watch if you're in Mumbai during the period of February, this festival is of nine days it mainly starts from 1st Saturday of February to second of Sunday mainly

Kala Ghoda basically means black horse, Mumbai's Kala Ghoda festival is held on streets of K Dubash Marg also called (Kala Ghoda) outside Jehangir art gallery in the Max Muller Bhavan. It's the ultimate space for a creative mind who would like to show people their art, I hope now you have a fair idea about Kala Ghoda so let me take you on a trip with me to this beautiful place.

If you need more information on this you can always check my previous post through here

So this year 2018 had some more amazing art features.

Journey

So my journey started using the most common public transportation of Mumbai i.e 'Local trains' although it was Sunday there was a lot of rush on the platform, and here some Sundays are worst because the train timings are not appropriate, some trains run late so I had to miss 2-3 trains to make sure I get inside the train and find a seat. Now I know most of you'll think missing 2-3 trains & waiting for the next one to come will take a lot of time but chill its nothing like that cause Mumbai's train might be late but every 5-6 minutes new train arrives.

The train journey is only exhausting if you don't find a seat if you do find you'll be able to enjoy it and sit back at ease for next 2 hours, also depends on slow trains and fast trains.

After reaching to CST (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj terminus) I took the next transport which is a taxi. Kala Ghoda street is 20 mins walk from CST but due to the sun on top of your head one might not want to walk will make you feel dizzy. Taxi only takes 5 mins to reach Kala Ghoda street. check out the entrance photo.

This art depicts the elements of natural air, water, wind, fire & space zoom in the get a clear view.

Following this the next art is also quite same structure body of a tree, this defines as how man has destroyed the beautiful nature inside out and converted it for the benefit of his future.

This picture shows "Human nature" by definition it means saving this environment means saving yourself.

Look at those buildings made from papers and some drawings with chalk and there's two famous dialogue written of a Bollywood's movie "Eak pedh ki kimat tum kya janah insan babu? which translates to " You can't put a value to nature"

Here, it represents a connection of water bodies that flow throughout India.Water depicts a strong force of nature. The shining blue circles show water droplets that are connected to white pipes allowing it to reach from north to south in India, which shows no matter how different we are but we are still one nation.

I couldn't figure out what was this art about because as you see in the picture there was no space around to look, but I find this cute child wondering at the classic

Need some air

The towering masterpiece provokes you to think about today's Mumbai's landscapes says this masterpiece maker, as in recent years pollution is the city's biggest problem. In Mumbai finding space and comfort is not easy and building more towers cutting down environment has made its own city suffer making it difficult to breathe now.

'I need some air' is an enclosed, artificially created oasis allowing you to 'breathe'.
