Solo hike on April 14-15. Part 5: the most beautiful time.

| And here I am on the ridge! On one side of the ridge are the eastern Gorgans, and on the other, the Chornohora ridge opens. Almost all the highest peaks of Ukraine are located on this ridge. If you consider those that are above 2000 meters, then there are 6 and one more - Menchul, which did not reach the 2000 mark just 2 meters! All on the Chornohora ridge. If you set a goal, you can conquer them for one trip. Here are the peaks of the Chornohora mountain range: Pop Ivan Chernohorsky - Dzembronya - Menchul - Brebeneskul - Gutyn Tomnatyk - Rebra-Turkul - Danziz - Pozhizheska - Hoverla - Petros - Sheshul. | І ось я на хребті! З одного боку хребта залишаються східні Горгани, а з іншого відкривається Чорногорський хребет. На цьому хребті розташовані майже всі найвищі вершини України. Якщо розглянути ті, що вище 2000 метрів то їх 6 і ще одна - Менчул, не дотягнула до 2000-й позначки всього 2 метри! Все на Чорногорському хребті. Тобто якщо поставити собі за мету, їх можна підкорити за один похід. Ось вершини чорногорського хребта: Поп-Іван Чорногірський - Дземброня - Менчул - Бребенескул - Гутин Томнатик - Ребра- Туркул - Данцір - Пожіжеска - Говерла - Петрос - Шешул. |

| I continue my way along the ridge of Kukul, which runs parallel to Chornohora. | Along the way, snowdrops surprise me again! This time they gathered in a heap. I could not pass by such beauty and took out a camera. | По дорозі мене знову дивують проліски! На цей раз вони зібралися в купу. Я не міг пройти повз таку красу і дістав фотоапарат. |
| I quickly passed the summit of Kukul (1540 m) and went to the Polonyna Zakukul. The barbed wire and trenches did not surprise me. As I have already written here many traces left the First World War. | Я швидко пройшов вершину Кукул (1540 м) і вийшов на полонину Закукул. Колючий дріт і траншеї мене вже не дивували. Як я вже писав, тут багато слідів залишила Перша світова війна. |
| At the Zakukul mountain valley, I stopped at an "old" place, where a beautiful view of Chornohora opens in one direction and on the east of the Gorgany to another. There was also a trench here... | На полонині Закукул я зупинився на «старому» місці, звідки відкривається прекрасний вид на Чорногору в одну сторону і на східні Ґорґани в іншу. Тут теж залишилася траншея... |
| After installing the tent and parsing things, I cooked dinner and tea and enjoyed the views until sunset. The weather was good, only a little cold breeze blew. I placed the tent just below the ridge, but nevertheless let the wind blow the tent. He removes condensation from the tent. | Після встановлення намету і розбору речей, можна було приготувати вечерю, попити чаю, і насолоджуватися видами до заходу сонця. Погода була гарною, тільки дув трохи холодний вітерець. Я розташував намет трохи нижче хребта, але все-таки дав вітру обдувати намет. Він прибирає конденсат з намету. |
| In the hike the most interesting begins during sunset and the dawn. At this time, the sun illuminates everything around with gentle yellow rays. | У поході найцікавіше починається під час заходу та світанку. У цей час сонце освітлює все навколо ніжними жовтими променями. |
| And I glued for you a couple of panoramas at different times of the day. Looking at them you will see the difference. | А склеїв для вас пару панорам в різний час доби. Подивившись на них, ви помітите різницю. |
| They are all photographed on the second day, because the first one was a "haze". In the mountains you can not know exactly what the weather will be the next day. I was once convinced that it was better not to forecast the weather. | Вони все зняті в другий день, тому що в перший був «серпанок». В горах не можна точно знати, яка погода буде на наступний день. Я не один раз переконувався, що краще не прогнозувати погоду. |
| I photographed a lot on the first day, but Chornohora was in a haze. On the second day, she was not in the morning. | Я багато фотографував в перший день, але Чорногора була в серпанку. На другий день, з ранку її не було. |
| The highest mountain of Ukraine is Hoverla (2061 m). It is this peak that annually becomes a mecca for tourists who not only travel in Carpathians for the first time, but also for the first time try their hand at tourism: the ideas of conquering Hoverla attract even those who have never seen a tourist backpack, and mountains in particular. | Найвища гора України - Говерла (2061 м.). Саме ця вершина щорічно стає меккою для туристів, які не тільки вперше подорожують Карпатами, а й вперше пробують сили в туризмі: ідеї підкорення Говерли ваблять навіть тих, хто ніколи в очі не бачив туристичного рюкзака, і гори в тому числі. |
| Goverla and Petros are the most popular peaks. You will say that I repeat, such a picture already was... Look how they looked a day later. I decided to set two options, for those who have not yet been in the mountains specifically. If you are in the mountains - be aware that the next day the same mountains will look different! | Говерла і Петрос найпопулярніші вершини. Ви скажете, що я повторююся, така фотографія вже була... | And again, there are a lot of crocuses! And again, I could not resist not photographing them. They looked completely different. Those who were in the past were photographed at dinner, and this morning. Do you see the difference? | І знову на полонині дуже багато крокусів! І знову я не зміг встояти, щоб не сфотографувати їх. Вони виглядали зовсім по іншому. Ті, що були в минулій частині, були сфотографовані в обід, а ці вранці. Ви бачите різницю? |

| After the morning photo shoot, I gathered and went back, through the Kukul, but already in the opposite direction - to Voronenko. | Після ранкової фотосесії, я зібрався і пішов назад, через полонину Кукул, але вже в інший бік - на Вороненко. |

Again a beautifully-written hiking report. The views, which you depicted in all their glory, look stunning! (And more crocuses! Thank you for that! 🙂)
However, I feel like this is a rather cold place to spend the night in a tent!
Thank you very much for your feedback! I could not resist showing the other crocuses again, although they were in the last part ...
I slept in more severe conditions, when everything in the tent is frozen, even wet wipes. And I had to warm my shoes to put them on their feet. If you have a winter sleeping bag - no problem.
That's the price then for taking these gorgeous photos 😟. Ouch, frozen wet wipes... 😨
Do not worry - it's just until the sun came out. After dawn it became as warm as spring.

Дякую! Обов'язково треба! Це ж наша рідна Україна! Залізниця є, навіть прокат спорядження є. Це доступно кожному! А цей маршрут можна пройти за день і встигнути на зворотній поїзд без усілякого спорядження.
