Dreaming Of India...and Traveling in General!
The travel bug is starting to itch.. real bad!
I know I'm supposed to tell you all about the rest of our 8 Month Honeymoon, but looking through my photos, I had an urge to just post a little something about that damn "Travel Bug"...It's starting to itch again!!!!
So in the mean time (while I'm procrastinating on my honeymoon post) Here are a few photos:
This little shop on the side of a canal had struck me as so beautiful... Look at how simple it is. Why should we bother ourselves with crazy building codes and regulation? I am fantasizing a little here, I don't know what the laws were like in Kerala for this shop, who knows maybe they have codes to follow and business licences to file. After all, the English left India in some insane bureaucratic mess... I remember having to get a new passport in Calcutta, what a nightmare, LOL!!!
I mean Just getting a train ticket is quite the exercise! I guess people now a days actually get their tickets online, is that right?
I do love it thought... a bit of a love/hate relationship, but I've been there twice now, and there aren't many places in the world I've visited twice.

Ah Pondi... What a beautiful town that was! In all its Indian-ness it is so French. Even the old fellas are playing Petanque the French bocce ball game. I say beautiful, but of course, you have to overlook certain areas where suage is pouring into some central canal that probably pours into the see...
I shouldn't complain about this need to travel... We are leaving to Costa Rica pretty soon! One little month of chilling on the beach, surfing a little, maybe... We have a hippy festival to go to and Some friends meeting us there to do the same thing! It'll be our boy's first back pack trip, he's four. Until now he's been traveling in a camper van across Europe and the US. This will be fun for sure!
I don't know what we will do when the time comes where the government makes us keep some sort of fucked up schedule with school. Taking the winters traveling around is so much more educative than sitting in a jail cell for 6 or 7 hours a day, not being aloud to talk to you inmates.
I laugh a little when people ask about homeschooled kids and their Socializing!
Well we'll find a way... You will not stop us from traveling! It's too late, it's been in my blood for generations, it's in my wife's blood and the little homie, well as you can see below...he is pretty comfortable being who he is!
What a great trip. Wish I could go trvelling too. When my boy was 4 we went backpacking round Europe and Asia and it was just the best. Costa Rica sounds great.. NO COMPLAINING FROM YOU!!!

yes this is the best way to raise a child, outside in the world not locked away in a room, where imagination and all sense of wonder is taken from them. There is so much going on in the world, let them see it first hand not have some one else's opinion, here's to raising our kids to be free spirits and being able to think for themselves. Have a great time in Costa Rica, I think I have said it before but I am jealous xxx
Lol, yeah I think you have said it before! For sure I want to raise him a little more on the free range side of things. We'll find a way. Proper unschooling is bot legal where we live but we'll find the loop holes in the system, we always do!
How do you do it in spain, they habe to go to school no?
my kids would have to go to school if they were registered in the country but they are not, so that law does not apply to me. As far as they are concerned I am a traveller and don't live here full time xxx

Ha ha kids learning from the real world not books not being told what to think about things but experiencing them. Crazy stuff lol
Yeah, I'm not sure what the real reason behind not letting chikdren learn what want to learn, is!

Things a really awesome man. I'm on my last couple weeks of work for this stunt and than it's off to Costa Rica. When we return I'll do another two weeks or so, to stuff the wallet back up and off to the homestead to keep building!
