SeanyTravels (Asia) #2 I visited a very famous cafe in Taipei!
Last year I visited a very famous cafe in Taipei! It is Jay Chou's cafe!
If you know about chinese music, you definitely would have heard at least 1 song from him before. I think it is safe to say that he is one of the best and most famous artiste in the world of chinese music or even Music in general.
He has also appeared in a few movies before, notably in Initial D, Green Hornet, and more recently, Now You See Me 2. He is also married to an actress and model (much to the dismay of my female schoolmates back then).
I am quite a big fan of his, and there is not really any song from him that doesn't suit my taste.
So i visited Taiwan with my friends last year and we were searching for somewhere nice and memorable to visit, and to fill our stomach as well (oh it definitely did)
We realised from where we were, Jay's cafe wasn't too far away so we decided to go there upon checking that it was open that day!
We took some time to navigate the small alleys and eventually realised it was located within a school compound.
We took no time to enter the restaurant and snap many photos. The architecture and design was really cool and it was made to feel like we were inside Jay' music videos. Most of the other patrons at that time were girls and they too, were busy taking photos everywhere.
There was so much detail, all the way into the toilet!
We settled down soon after and ordered a meal each. Just a head's up, the quantity is quite huge, we almost couldn't finish.

While eating, we were also able to suck in the awesome sights and sounds the restaurant had to offer. They played Jay's music videos endlessly on the projector screen, and we thoroughly enjoyed the full audio, visual and gastronomical experience.

I don't know the artist (well, I'm not familiar with Chinese music at all), but the restaurant/café looks very interesting! Love the "mr J Diner" mark in the dessert (?). But what interest me most: How was the food!? Was it top quality, super delicious? Or is it more like: Ok, done it, seen it, but no thanks for next time?
yep! They did some coffee art on top and wrote Mr J Diner ahaha.
I think the food was. above average!! But the entire theme of the restaurant played a part in making it delicious. If it were served outside by itself, maybe just an average i guess~

I dont really listen to Jay Chou much but I've played one of his songs, 菊花台 on my 中阮 before and it's really nice!
The cafe also looks really cool and very Jay Chou style
