SeanyTravels (Finland) #17 Santa Claus Holiday Village, Christmas HQ!
After such a thrilling experience with the Reindeer Sleighs and interaction with them, we spent a more relaxing day in the Santa Claus Village!
It wasn't at its peak like in Christmas, where it would have been the best time to see. But at least there is still snow around, so it's okay. The snowman did look like it was going to melt soon though. It did not have a happy face.
This was probably rather off-peak season, so not many tourists were around. We took a walk around to find key spots to store some of our baggage, but they didn't have such a service, which was a pity.
In the centre of Santa's village, you'll be able to find a Real Santa to take photo with inside this building! There was a queue to take photos with him, so we didn't wait all the way.

This placed is designed to be rather 'touristy' so at the end of this building you'll find a souvenir shop, no surprises there!
You'll be fine if you don't decide to spend a dime at all. You can walk around without being disturbed and capture some nice photos of the surroundings.
There are nice snow capped wooden huts, which are actually restaurants selling Reindeer, and Bear meat if I did not get the pictures wrong.

There wasn't any special events held at this time of the year, and it was probably too early in the day as well. If you want to catch this place at its peak, i definitely recommend you coming during Christmas. The Real Santa would be around that time that's why!
