Flying Dodo Brewery, the end of a great Taxi trip.
As you know if you read my previous three posts

my wife and I were on a very interesting Taxi trip in Mauritius. Finally the best part of the trip arose like a phoenix out of the mist the - Flying Dodo Brewing Company !! After a long day spent in a taxi, this was a great site to see!! Something to sooth my dry thirsty throat!!
The brewery doubles as a pub / restaurant!! You almost sit inside the brewery when drinking their beers!! I loved the look of the place.
You can see the fermentation tanks from inside the restaurant, there is only a glass wall separating the brewery from the restaurant.
The next photos, shows a bit more of the inside and decorations. The ceiling has a real industrial look to it, which just complements the entire look and feel of the place - nice!!
The Flying Dodo Brewery was established in 2011, and was the first craft brewery in Mauritius!!
This is enough talk about the place, let's try the beer!! I ordered an Oktoberfest special brew. The beer came on tap and had a great look to it!! Nice amber color and great white head with good carbonation.

The beer was nice and ice-cold as it should be in a hot and humid Mauritius!! I was very happy with my choice of beer, it tasted great and did a good job of sooooothing my dry throat!! This was just what I needed.
Some of the ingredients used in the brewing was also stacked within eyesight.
They also had some nice photos of the history and construction of the brewery on the walls.
This was a great end to a very interesting taxi ride through the Southern parts of Mauritius, we saw a lot and overall it was a great experience!!
