Work Trip To Bangkok - 27 April to 02 May 2018 - Day 2

Woke up and it was HEAVY rain in Pattaya. I had originally planned to go down to the private beach with my laptop to do some blogging. My balcony will have to make do then.

Took a Grab car to the bus station and there was a long queue! Ended up having to wait about 45 minutes for the next available bus. It was raining all the way back to Bangkok. I slept the whole journey having partied the whole night before.

Went back to my apartment to do a little bit of work and headed out for dinner at the nearby Terminal 21. I ordered a bowl of suki seafood soup and a plate of rice mixed with chilli paste. The rice was disappointing as I didn't quite like the taste of it and it was quite different from what the display picture looked like. The cabbage had a slightly sour taste and didn't smell good. I scooped it all out of my plate. Didn't want to risk having diarrhea! I had eaten at the Pier 21 Food Court many times and this time was probably the worst.

After dinner, I went up to the 6th floor and checked the movie timings. Avengers : Infinity War was out and I was eager to catch it. The effects in the show were quite good, as expected from most Marvel movies over the past few years. However, I found the story to be a bit draggy due to the different groups that Marvel Studios wanted to feature in this show. There will definitely be a 2nd part to Infinity Wars and I can't wait to see what's going happen, given that half of the Superheroes are probably dead at the end of this 1st part.
