๐ Steemit World Map Challenge #36 ๐
Greetings travelers!
Welcome to the 36th week of the #swmchallenge where we travel around the globe and try to bring up to light the most unique and special places or events worth visiting or putting on your travel bucket list. Each week here is filled with posts full of captivating scenery, stunning images and great stories. Basically, great travel blogs worth checking out. So If you like to travel (digitally or in real life) #swmchallenge is the place to go.
For those who still don't know about SteemitWorldMap
It's a fun tool made by @blueorgy and @martibis that allows you to pin your posts to a specific location or browse the world map where ideally every place on the map is a Steemit post. #swmchallenge is my attempt to make it more popular and build a community around it.
Travel blogs of the week
#1 Sea port of Burgas
@stepnoysuslik shows us the largest sea port of Bulgaria. Once an abandoned industrial area, turned into a shopping and entertainment center and a public recreation area. The seaport of Burgas is one of the largest cargo ports in Bulgaria and is very interesting for tourists. There is a possibility to rent a bike and ride through the Primorsky Park of Burgas, which stretches for 7 km from the port itself along the coast. He had a meal in Dalianโs restaurant which is as he describes it; huge, with access to the terrace, which offers a beautiful view of the sea and the ships in the port. In the port of Burgas there are tugs, fishing ships, dry cargo ships, giant yellow cranes. In the tourist season cruise liners appear as well.
#2 Market Friday in Aungban, Myanmar
Next, we join @jpphotography who shows us something very special this week, a drive-in market. He wanted to visit region of Myanmar, so he took the local train in the early morning. After a few hours of driving past beautiful landscapes, the train approached Aungban and soon, he found himself at one of the most amazing markets as he describes it. When the train stopped at the platform, dozens of vendors were waiting to sell their goods to their freshly arrived customers. The platform quickly turned into a busy market place. The passengers went on their shopping spree and started leaning out of the window, beckoning and sending away vendors, inspecting goods, comparing prices, bargaining, deciding on products and handing over money.
#3 A short walk around Madrid.
Lastly, @stranniksenya takes us on a short walk around Madrid, Spain, where, wherever you go, you can wonder and admire everything. So that's what we'll do. We will not walk around the city, but we will admire the simple streets, architecture and experience the life of a city dweller. "The small things", like high-tech styled bridge that seems that if you go in there, dizziness will begin immediately. There are a lot of interesting and weird looking statues but the one thing that facinated me the most is the endless bench. It has no beginning or end so there is always a place to sit and relax.

Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
Instead of giving you a one time payment of x SBD, from now on I want to reward you with daily votes from @steembasicincome that last FOREVER!
The more shares you collect from winning contests or by sponsoring someone else, the higher the upvotes you will get, daily, FOREVER.
Enrollment process is done manually so you might not see the wallet message from @steembasicincome straight away, but it will come in a day or two.

hahah o, well. If we continue threading the path we are on right now I feel like we will be able to get out of that problem in a couple of years.
I love steemitworldmap :)
I pinned a lot of my South American travel posts in there, and am currently delegating 100SP to them :)
Peace.
Me too, but I have never had a chance to travel QQ THat's one of the reasons I made this contest.
I would love to see your travel stories in here.
