Hello Travelholics! I'm Ruel, your travelblogger from Philippines! Welcome to another episode of Travel with Me. If you're planning to visit Thailand, then Kanchanaburi should be in your bucketlist. And today, I will bring you to this amazing destination, definitely a slice of heaven, and a must-see paradise.

How to get there?

Kanchanaburi, is a spectacular province which takes around 4 hours from Bangkok.

You can choose to travel by bus, car, or train depending on your preference. But we chose to travel by train to enjoy the scenery along the way. Meet my travel buddies for this trip, P'Nad, Moth, Bow and Guy.

What's in there?

Upon arriving at Kanchanaburi, our first destination was the Erawan Waterfalls. What makes this waterfall so remarkable is its blue waters with hungry fishes wanting to feast on your dead skin cells. The sensation is quite weird at first but it gets very relaxing once you get used to it. You need to protect your sensitive parts though to be safe (if you know what I mean :D ).

Then, we called to Ananta River Hills Resort to pick us up from Erawan Falls to our accommodation by van. After less than an hour, we have arrived to the resort, and we were all completely amazed! Here's what it looks like.

And this one is my personal favorite. It was taken while I was kayaking during sunrise. The surrounding is so magical.

As an avid traveller, I've been to a lot of resorts before, but I must say, this one is the best I've ever been. And the best part is, I just spent around 75 USD (excluding airfare) for the entire trip (2 days 2 nights). It was the best 75 USD I've ever spent. Credits to my Thai friends for carefully planning this trip.

This is a really amazing remote destination. I wish I had known this before and I will definitely go back and make a plan to there. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place.

One note, is Kanchanaburi hot?

It wasn't hot at all when we went there. I guess we're just lucky.

Really? Was it at the highland? I have no idea about the location of Kanchanaburi.

Which part of Thailand have you visited before?

I have visited Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pai, Pattaya, Phetchaburi, Phuket. Not much though since Thailand is so big, planning to visit more of the south soon. Where do you base?

WOW. I haven't been in the South yet. I'm currently staying at Rayong.

beautiful place, thanks for sharing

Thank you. Following you too.

This was a beauty. Using #philippines as well will help many others find your post as it is a more generic tag. Please keep on! You post came out awesome! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for your advice. Following you as well.

Great post! Those fishes are scary they're big unlike the small doctor fish

Yes. I had second thoughts diving into the water but I did for the sake of taking this photo. It tickles a lot.

Ciao! I see you have been on steemit for some time now so this introduction is a long time coming. One upvote from me and full steem ahead!
Getting those upvotes on a new account can be a daunting task, believe me, so you should try out Steemfollower where you can earn up to 5x more steem than just upvoting by yourself! It's a simple and safe vote exchange that is free to use. I also recently made this post explaining that in more depth and it has become my most upvoted post yet.

Great to know. Thank you.

Swimming in that fish pool must have tickled every part of your body lol

It sure does. Have to watch out for the delicate parts though. People say it only nibbles your dead skin cells, but judging from how big this fish can go, you'd better be careful. hahaha

Thanks for sharing @ruel-cedeno :)
