This volcano is known as being the most symmetrical and perfectly formed volcano in the world, it's just a majestic, stunning view, especially with the little clouds of smoke coming up from the top. I had the privilege to enjoy my visit in Legazpi City and could not take my eyes off of Mount Mayon. The locals feel the same way and we learned that they are extremely proud of that cone volcano. All enjoyed the various hikes that are available and with the clouds dancing up at her peak, the site is just incredible. One of Luzon's finest draws. A natural beauty I wouldn't forget.
The main reason why I want to go to Mt. Mayon was to ride in an ATV. ATV going to the foot of Mt. Mayon was dusty and rugged but it was all worth it. I enjoyed the bumps and highs of the ride as well as the scenery going up. I was an adventure seeker for one and that I enjoyed activities and seeing the place myself. You have to enjoy as if you were savoring the ambiance and grandeur that the place brings. It was stunning to see Mt. Mayon up close and personal.

How to Get to Legazpi City
By Air
Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific have regular flights from Manila and Cebu to Legazpi City.
By Bus
Several bus lines connect Metro Manila to Legazpi City including Philtranco, Superlines, DLTB, Cagsawa Tours, Amihan, Isarog Line, St. Jude Transit and Goldline Tours. Fare starts at P800 and travel time is approximately 9 to 10 hours.

I like the scenery, I live in the desert but looking to move to a cooler climate in a couple of years.
It can be very hot and humid here during summer (March,April and May).
