Amazing street art of Bogota: part 1
Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!
After showing you the astonishing natural beauty of the Cocora Valley in this series, I am here with another photo series compiled from shots that I took during our recent trip to Colombia.
This time around, I will certainly please all street art lovers because this series is dedicated to the famous graffiti art works of Bogota.
Home to over 8 million people, Bogota is the most populous, largest and capital city of Colombia. It occupies a total area of almost 1,600 sq km (approximately 615 sq mi) but we explored just a very small part of it - the safest (and most touristy) neighborhoods in and around the downtown and La Candelaria which is the city´s old town.
Luckily for us, it is here where some of the most famous and impressive street art pieces of Bogota are to be found. To be honest with you, however, even in the city center and in La Candelaria, there were some shady areas where we did not feel very comfortable so we restricted our graffiti hunting zone just to the main busy streets.
Without further ado, let me now show you what I captured there. This is the first part of the photo series and it comes with 12 shots.

Street art is a wonderful thing, love finding it in unexpected places!
It's great to see how this type of art reflects local (and global) history, culture and politics.

Attractive street art !!! You were right to shoot and share it!!! Very difficult to say which is my favourite, I would say the fifth one but nothing wrong with the others
