It has been a long time since I was in Giethoorn. Sure was better weather back then. Think somebody wanted to move on walking to get warm there. ;-)
It is an enchanting place, would like to go there when it is all frozen. Must be so great to iceskate there, between the houses and over the lake.
Can imagine you both had a good time there.

skate in there... hmmm.. you have to climb up some of the bridges .. I can't imagine doing that Oaldamst! but you probably can on the river you mean? That would be nice to watch .. you gave me another idea and reason to go back hehehe
It's near our place and we've always planned to go there but it always gets postponed back then, either we went to another place or overseas but that day, we're bored strolling in the same places so we went there hahahah :D
Yes, I ment iceskating. ;-)
Skeelers would be a bit of a challenge with all those bridges indeed.
Think it would be marvelous to see it during winter when there is snow and ice everywhere.
Good reason indeed to go there again.
