Travel #3 - Jakarta 26/04/18 - 29/04/18 Part 1

26 April

Selamat pagi.

Arrived safely in Jakarta although with a slight headache. Never go out the night before with friends when you have an early flight and need to wake up at 6am. Had a restless sleep as was afraid that I overslept even though have informed Kamisah or Kishor to call me at 6 as a back up alarm clock. Was informed by Kamisah (it is indicated on our plane ticket as well) that we would depart at T2. I arrived first and Kishor 2nd but we couldn’t find our flight on the board. 😱😱😱 We both were panicked until we check on the monitor for our flights that it says T3. 😂😂😂😂 It’s always an adventure whenever I travel with Kamisah. So we had to walk to T3, my first time at T3. All was good after we checked in our bags and had a good laugh that our bags are half the weight when Kamisah said it won’t be when we come back and that she also brought extra bag in the bag. The shopping girl are well prepared. Since there wasn’t any Burger King to have our breakfast, coffee club will have to do and since it’s on the departure floor cause other eateries are all on the lower ground, we decided to just have coffee but they serve salmon Benedict egg, so we have our breakfast as well.

All 3 of us prefers to sit on the aisle and all 3 has an empty seat in the middle. Had an irritating passenger behind me who had one of his feet protruding in between my chair. Keep bumping into my arm and i was wondering where the smell came from. Couple of times knock on my elbow were ok but as he went for the third time I had to turn back and showed my displeasured face. That did the trick cause he put his foot down after that!

And of course like our usual adventure Kamisah booked a massage first for all of us before we go to our hotel, since check in time is at 2 and we arrived at 11 might as well make full use of the 2 hours! Kamisah needed the massage after having a stressful couple of months moving to a new house. I just need the massage so I can sleep off the headache 😂😂😂😂. It’s called Bersih Sehat. Literally means Clean Healthy.

After massage we had a late lunch at Warung ngalam, just below the massage place for some local dish. Late lunch and delish food. Got a grab and it was RP17000 only = SGD1.70 😱😱😱😂😂😂 even though it was only a 5-10min journey, still! Arrived hotel and checked in and we got room with a poolside access via our verandah on the 3rd floor. Sweet!!

Went to the executive lounge but the cocktail only serves at 6.30.

Went to the lobby bar by myself to chillax. Went up to the room to have shower and get ready for dinner 😱😱😱😱 eat again! Can’t help with awesome Indonesian food! Gg to Bunga Rampai restaurant, hopefully we get to go up for our cocktail first.

Had a wonderful dinner especially the salted egg yolk Gurami was divine. And had a surprised belated birthday cake from Kamisah, awwwww and was serenade by string trio. Highly recommended place to eat for entertaining business client.
