Escape the reality using your $1!
Most of the peeps in Manila is always seeking for a place to lean on when everyday stress is occupying their world. And the leader of the peeps i'm stating is no other than me. Haha! lol. So here's my latest trip or should I say My first escape 2018 (As what I named my album on facebook).
A week ago, I was planning to travel somewhere. I fell hungry on adventures so I searched where to go near my location as possible. Since I only have 1 day to run from my exhausting world, my decision ended at Calatagan, Batangas. Saturday night after office, I started pushing myself from manila to Manuel Uy Beach Resort. This is a perfect place for campers! Why? Well there's no cottage and fast food or even stores there. You have to bring all your stuffs before going. For only 50 pesos - Day entrance ($1) and 100 pesos - Overnight, you can do whatever you want inside the beach.
But please, be a nature lover. This place has a lot to offer, the owner let you enjoy the paradise in a very cheap price so in return, all you have to do is be mindful along your stay.
You can pitch your own tent, just pay 50 php. Since I don't have a tent, I rented one which costs 500 php and the 50 php environmental fee.
If you want to, you can ask the "bangkeros" there to bring you on the other islands or have a stop on the spot where you can snorkel. My favorite is the "Starfish island". You'll ride a boat for about 15 minutes which costs 1000 php good for 5 persons.
This place is instagramable! I am just so lucky that my SD card has an error. Idunno what happened but 50% of my shots are lost. :( Huhu!
How to get there;
For commuters
From Edsa-taft, ride a Van going straight to Calatagan public market P180php.
From Calatagan public market, ride a tricycle, just ask the driver to drop you off to Manuel Uy Beach Resort P200php good for 4 persons.
If you have a car with you, you can use google map/waze for convinience. Parking fee is P100php.

Just WOW! me and my workmates our planning to have our first escapade (as a set of friends) one of these day. They've been eyeing Masasa Beach but I will recommend this place also so they will or we rather have options :)

Yeah this place is beautiful! Try the other islands if you guys will choose here. Sand bar and my favorite starfish island though masasa is a great place too.
