Night Flight from Zurich
This was last month on my holiday to Swiss. After landing into Zurich, I had good 2 hours to spend at the airport before boarding the flight to Geneva. It was somewhat a jinxed day because the take-off from Muscat was delayed due to a technical error because of which I missed my Geneva connection. Still, we managed to reach on time to take the last flight from Zurich to Geneva. Even that got delayed because it was the last flight so it waited for all the connecting passengers. Even those flights were delayed so we had an extra wait.
The original time, which was at 8 p.m. to depart from Zurich, we finally took off at 11 1.p.m. The excitement of the holiday was there so it did not really matter much to me in that moment.
Landing in Zurich
Since there was good amount of time at the Zurich airport, I was just going around the shops looking at things. Also, it was late evening and most of them had shut down, a few were still open.

The food court was open. I was served a nice 5 course meal on the flight from Muscat to Zurich so I was not at all hungry, else it was a good option to dine.

Finally on the flight. I could see the cockpit from my seat. I am very fascinated of these things.
The crew was very warm and friendly. He served me 1 mini chocolate, I liked it very much and told him that I liked it and thank you, pleasantly he got a big bar for me and said, it's a gift for you. I was super happy.
Our bags getting loaded on the flight. The guy was literally throwing the bags. One thing that I always worry about my bags, because they are always handled very roughly. I can understand their situation also, they have to handle so many bags.

By midnight we reach Geneva and then to our Hotel, it was a very long day.

Oh man, I totally get the frustration with those travel delays! Last summer, I had a similar experience. I was flying from New York to Rome, with a layover in London. My flight from New York was delayed due to some mechanical issue, which made me miss my connection in London. I ended up spending an extra five hours at Heathrow, just trying to stay patient and not let it ruin my vacation mood.
Eventually, I managed to catch the last flight out, which also waited for delayed passengers like me.
