You don't honestly want to live in Scotland! The damp is hellish on the bones here in Winter!! Stay on the Euro mainland with Portugal @playfulfoodie and you'll be just fine :D
But if money is no object, a manor house with househelp in Skye will be fine :)

A manor house with good heating can surely withstand all that wind...don't go out and enjoy the view ;)

Haha fair enough! I've only seen Scotland during a heatwave, so it was very sunny when I was there ;-)
