First of all I have to speak as all the time of the architecture, in this city we can find towers, castles and monasteries from the medieval times, As Lisbon is a old city you can see the crash of the different structures as you go passing by the streets. Belem Tower is well known and even if almost everyone say that it has a islamic culture behind it makes me think in other type of art because of the rhinoceros gargoyle on the top.

The churches have that strong influence worthy of Europe, the vitrals and the rooftops are nice to the eyes of a tourist. You can enjoy several museums and sculptures that tell the history of the city. You can find the monument to the portuguese explorers.

You have streets full of little stores and restaurants, of course maybe the city it's going to be full of people too but not that much as New York or Venice. And as I told you on the beginning, it's a city with a mix of culture and modernism, you can go walking down street and see art in each corner, in the buildings in the walls everywhere.

Lisbon is full of castles, it is a coastal city and its history is felt immediately, one of the prettier castles is this one "Palacio da Pena" full of color that stay in Sintra, it's a palace of islamic architecture that totally transport you to the medieval times. You are going to feel like from the royalty, so bring on your crown. But actually the history of this palace is weird.

Ok now I feel that this is weird, every time I talk about a city that I want to visit, mysteriously it has BEACHES, I swear I don't choose them because of that, they are simple coincidences. This beaches of Lisbon are cool because stay near the city, are cleans and It has good weather.

If you like the idea you can also go on bicycle, the city is a little steep but has certain places that you can easily enjoy as the coast, you can take those postcard style and look super fitness or just go around walking and enjoying the trip.
