Just read the sign lol. At least the pool is free though. However, this doesn't appear to be a covert operation here

Sketchy boat trip along the river anyone? I took one to Siem Reap and it was amazing!

It is always nice to visit the local markets instead of visiting the supermarkets. Local markets are where locals trade their own goods. Buy local goods instead of buy imported goods. Taste their home-grown fruits and vegetables. That is one way to support their locals.

When you visit the locals markets you get a true taste of the lifestlye, culture and the opportunity to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the place you are visiting. No matter where I visit, the local market is always one of the first places I visit, and I am intrigued everytime. And you are exactly right, support the locals, and forget the big corportate supermarkets. Great comment @mu001bu. Im upvoting your comment.

Also if you like travel, food & photo blogs give mine a peek. Im currently focused around Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam and Cambodia. https://steemit.com/@jakehorn87

I love Phnom Penh and I've been there about a dozen times since I first visited about a decade ago. One small correction though @jakehorn87, I'm sure that your photo of the local boys fishing is taken on Sisowath Quay, in which case it is not The Mekong River but the Tonle Sap River. The Mekong joins and takes over from south of the Royal Palace. Terrific photos though. Resteemed

Yes, I think you might be right on that. When I took a boat trip from PP to Siem Reap I remember once we converged with the Mekong. Someone working on the boat made a small announcement. We had been on the boat for maybe 10-15 minutes. Thanks for the clarification @inseasia! Much appreciated!
