OSLOB WHALE SHARK ENCOUNTER 🌊🐳🐋

Oslob is located at nearby province in Cebu an approximately 3 hours bus ride from Cebu City. Whale sharks can be seen in a small barangay Tan-awan, which is 9 to10 km away from the center town of Oslob.
Whale shark or locally called "Tuki" or "Butanding" had been present in the coastal waters around Oslob, Cebu for the last 7 years or so. The first known sightings for the gentle giants are in Sorsogon, thus being dubbed as the Whale Shark Capital of the Philippines.
Sightings in Oslob Cebu started sometime in 2010 and it became popular all over the world when the news hit online and shared in social media. local fishermen’s interact with the whale sharks by feeding them that result to flocking of foreign and local tourist alike to the beach of Tan-awan. Large numbers of tourists began arriving in Oslob not just to see the whale sharks being fed but also to snorkel or dive with them. You can get up close with the world’s largest fish the gentle giant of the sea. Swimming with a whale shark is the most unique wildlife interaction and experience youll forever gonna treasure. Truly a one in a kind experience.

The whale shark usually stay in oslob cebu maybe you can visit cebu or have sidetrip.. or you can visit cebu firts before going to boracay. its one of a kind experience bro. Goodluck with your vacation
