HEARTINi's Travel #4: Goofing off at Intramuros, Manila

It's not very often we do this as a group because we are a not careerist rider, we're a collections of factory workers, store staff, office workers, graphic artist, government worker, etc., that is why we usually do bike ride for exercise, sometimes just to have fun, that is why you can expect most of our ride is a fun ride.

This time, we decided to go to some historic place here in Manila, the Walled City of Intramuros, literally means "inside the walls" was built way back the Spanish colonialization in 16th Century on the Philippines, but today it's a popular attraction for foreigners and local people alike, that's why we friend got to get there to see it for our selves.

Equipped with enthusiasm, we pedal our way to Intramuros and do the best we can to contain ourselves being a visitor to this historic place,

This is us, behaving at the Plaza Mexico, the first place we stumble upon entering Intramuros,

or should I say, gradually releasing our inner child, haha

we really do enjoy a bike ride, because this is the only time we could feel liberated from all the stress build up by our work,

sometimes we overdo things, but we're working on it, believe me, haha

And while we're at it, we greeted the statue of the Mexican President Adolfo López Mateos, the President of Mexico who visited the city in 1962,

Just across the street, not far from Plaza de Mexico, we saw this abandoned building, kinda creepy but still, fun to take a picture with, because we know this place have gone through a lot back in the days,

look at us, we're like trolls coming out of those vines haha

picture after picture, we just love taking a picture when we go out, for the benefit of telling stories to our friend whom later on joining us on our ride,

And so, we took a ride again to our next location, in the middle of Intramuros I guess, that's my first time entering Intramuros haha

just beside Intramuros Golf Course, this overlooking is a very good spot to rest because the trees give shade for the resting individuals like us,

we really do enjoy thing no matter how little it may be, we simply thank God for the blessing we received from everyday life, so no matter what we do, we do things with a smile on our face,

Thanks to the stranger we've met there, we are able to take a picture of all of us,

now time to fuse, haha

ok, time to move out,

But before we leave this place, I just have to take a picture of this beautiful tree,

and of course an obligatory selfie for me haha

before going home, our friend know this place where we could take a picture, though it's quite guarded, but with the looks of us, we are able to enter, no problem,

This may be a simple ride for others, but for us, it builds our friendship, our relation to one another,

I always want to go back to Intramuros sometimes, with these band of brothers I have and share the joy to others, as we share our joy to ourselves.
