Satisfying Impulses #1 - 5oo km cycling from Manali to Leh - Part 3

With 48 Hours of rest at Marhi, AMS symptoms negated, we were all refreshed to move ahad. Todays plan was based on following route plan
Aim was to reach Sissu, a distance of 64km which may take approximately 6-7 hours, and increase in elevation would be around 600m, first major obstacle was Rohtang pass.
On the move towards Rohtang pass, this is the view of Marhi where we stayed for the night.

She was really happy to find great slopes assisting our rides and the views were really awesome
Thats me negotiating turn on the other side of Rohtang,The happiness did not last long since the road condition deteoriated significantly

Lunch at the Koksar, it became really windy here and cold too, but warm freshly prepared local delicacy, momos, Rajma and rice

Keylong (or Kyelong or Kyelang) is the administrative centre of the Lahaul and Spiti district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, 126 km (78 mi) north of Manali and 120 km (75 mi) from the Indo-Tibetan border. It is located along the Manali-Leh Highway, about 7 km (4.3 mi) north-east of intersection of the Chandra Valley, the Bhaga Valley, and the Chenab Valley; on the banks of Bhaga River.

Having done Ladakh 4 times I know how crazy it can get. Have always cribbed about doing it on motorcycles and then here you guys are doing on bicycles. Helmets off to you guys. Cheers
