Day 5 - Grand Canyon, Navajo Bridge, Horseshoe Bend

stayed at Yavapai Lodge. sunrise at Yavapai Point.
Grand Canyon is awaking...
Grand Canyon Village 내에 있는 Yavapai Lodge에서 하룻밤은 자고 아침에 Yavapai point 에서 일출을 보았다.
햇살을 받은 그랜드 캐년이 깨어나는 느낌

we were leaving Grand Canyon throguh Desert View Drive, eastside. stopped by Grand View point, Desert View point.
오늘은 그랜드 캐년 빌리지의 동쪽인 Desert View Drive 쪽으로 나오면서 Grand View point, Desert View point 등을 들렀다.

Desert View Watchtower at the east end of Grand Canyon. it will be the start point if you enter Grand Canyon East Entrance from north.
동쪽 끝에 있는 Desert View Watchtower.
북쪽에서 내려오면서 동쪽 입구로 들어오는 관광객들에게 여기가 시작이다.

you can see 360 degree view on the top of the tower.
타워 안으로 계단을 따라 올라가면 360도의 그랜드 캐년을 볼 수 있다.

to Page, enjoyed all views on the road
그랜드 캐년 빌리지를 나와 Page 로 올라가는 길, 모든 길들이 아름답다.

중간에 Marble Canyon 으로 살짝 빠져서 Navajo Bridge 에 갔다. 다리 위를 걸으면서 밑으로 콜로라도 강을 볼 수 잇는 곳.
나바호 다리 두 개 중 하나는 차가, 다른 하나는 사람이 다닌다.

on the way to Page, there is Horseshoe Bend. up hill and down hill, feeling like in the desert.
다시 차를 Page 로 돌려 Horseshoe Bend 을 갔다.
주차장에서 내려 저 언덕을 올라가면 있으려나 했는데 다시 밑으로 내려감. 사막을 걷는 느낌

that's it as it is, no safety guard at all! at your own risk!
Colorado river runs to bend like horseshoe shape...
Cannot imagine by photo! you should be there!
밑은 완전 절벽, 아무런 안전장치도 없다.
at your own risk.
콜로라도 강이 말발굽처럼 생긴 저곳을 돌아나가는 곳이라 Horseshoe Bend 라 이름 붙여졌다.
직접 보는 기분은 세상의 어떤 카메라도 담아내지 못한다.
