Travel - Germany - Konstanz
For today's travel post I'm featuring another beautiful little medieval German Town, called Konstanz. The city is situated next to the famous Lake Constance (or Bodensee in German) and I featured one of its beautiful churches in a previous post.
Like most of the other German towns I visited it is rich with architectural detail and history. According to wikipedia traces of civilisation in Konstanz date back to the stone age! We had limited time to visited so basically walked this town and checked out the main attractions/points of interest including 'The Imeria' a statue at the habour, the old town square and various churches.
We also climbed to the top of Catedral De Constance for a bird's eye view of the town - absolutely worth it!

Sadly about 10 years ago! Can't wait to go back and show my wife this place. We ventured off during a work trip to Ulm to see Konstanz over a weekend. ;)
