After Mokeiha we went further towards Pogost. And once again forks, I again had to resort to the navigator to find the right way. It's very easy to get lost in these area, but this is strictly forbidden, as it is possible to disappear...

The road led through the forest. On it there was only a tractor trail, it's not the place for car drivers here!

The forest did not go long and we went to the field, where there are a lot of globe-flowers. They say that its are listed in the Red Book, but there are so many of them that you can not believe that this is an endangered species!

The field was large, and at the very end of it, because of a small hill, could hardly make out the outlines of the houses – that means we went right.

And still there is a stone dilapidated church, but to it a bit later.

Later, because before us again there was a house, which by all indications seemed that it is residential.

The windows look like plastic, but no, it's ordinary glass. By insulators on the facade, you can judge that there was electricity (there are villages where it never was).

On the wall hangs a portrait of Yesenin.

Inside this house is even better than in the previous one, which is in the neighboring village.

List all the benefits there is no sense - the main one can be seen in the photo. I will say only what is not visible: in the "red" corner LCD monitor, on the table a bottle of vodka, in boxes bread, canned food and many other food products. The most recent date was on bread: May 22, 2018. There are often pilgrims, as well as hunters.

The church on design reminds classicism, but only too simple - a low bell tower in the form of a box and the same extension.

Nearby are gazebos, or rather even indoor tables for a pilgrim's meal.

Inside, there is nothing but the grave of the Reverend Simon Volomsky.

The temple stands on the bank of the river Kichmenga in its sources, which further flows along the Kichmengsko-Gorodetsky district. In general, these places are located in the Velikoustyugsky district on the border with Kich-Gorodetsky.
The Holy Cross of Simon-Volom hermitage can be called the most remote place in the region.

The length of this river is only 208 km and it flows into the South River.

After all, only on foot we made our way for three hours, and we have a couple of villages according to next plan...

We need to rest, have dinner and gain strength.
