Enjoy this bird - a little egret - during his lunch
Bird time in the garden
On my way back from lunch I met this nice and white fellow. He wasn’t shy at all and I had a chance to watch him catching his lunch.
What kind of bird?
As I don‘t have a clue what this is, I asked google for typical birds in Egypt and after a while I found this at Wikipedia.
The little egret (Egretta garzetta) is a species of small heron in the family Ardeidae. The genus name comes from the Provençal French Aigrette, "egret", a diminutive of Aigron," heron". The species epithet garzetta is from the Italian name for this bird, garzetta or sgarzetta.

This bird knows his area and all the ongoing activities quite well. He follows the guy who waters the garden and grabs the little creatures who try to escape the wet.
