Electric Castle is one of the most famous festivals in Europe. The location is a dream (Banffy Castle, Bontida Village, Cluj County). The place is full of history, there are many legends.
Electric Castle is the perfect experience that combines music with the most spectacular festival venue in the country and a creative activity plan with public entertainment at any time of the day. Moreover, the EC is about freedom, about the mornings spent on the lake and about the unique feeling the castle offers. In short, a five-day escape to one of the most beautiful castles in Transylvania, meant to bring you memories for a year.
Electric Castle is primarily a story, an experience that you have to live from the first to the last day. It is a mix of an eclectic line-up, a creative and attractive activity plan, and a Castle - one of the most powerful assets of the event, plus the most important element: the people who take part in this electrical experience unfolded in the middle Transylvania.
A few words from the organizers of this incredibly pleasant festival:
-With every edition, our desire is to attract more people to the Banffy field, to the music, to the history and beauty of the Castle, but especially to a complete festival experience. This year, when we celebrated five years of Electric Castle, we estimate that over 130,000 people will be present at the Castle.
-Every year, we try to provide a much better organization than the previous edition. Thus, communication with the public is always transparent and we have quick answers to the questions, concerns and curiosities of the participants, both online and offline. As far as the press relationship is concerned, we have always provided relevant information and have responded to their requests. Also, during the festival, we gave access to artists through press conferences and we facilitated interviews exclusively and they will not change at this year's edition.
-Every year, for a few days, Bontinda commune becomes the main attraction of Europe. Obviously this year will be the same, and we invite you to Electric Castle.
This year the festival started 3 days ago and ends on 22 July.
