Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:

All who visited Prague, notes its amazing architecture. 10 days we walked around Prague on our own. It seems to have already looked at everything, but every day they definitely found new streets in Old Prague. The city itself is elegant, beautiful. Now it is an unusually comfortable city, with impeccably walking transport, inexpensive hotels, detailed signs and, of course, hundreds of cafes.

Rotunda of St. Martin, Vysehrad, Prague
P1090888.JPG
This is the oldest preserved Prague rotunda. It was built in the 2nd half of the 11th century by King Wratislav.
Many times it was in danger of being destroyed. The rotunda was rooted in numerous wars and planned terrain constructions.
Apparently, it was protecting its patron, St. Martin.

Love the whole Vysehrad area! Thank you so much for your entry. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Fields covered with fresh snow and lit up by the setting winter sun above Julianov, a neighborhood in the city Brno. Home to approximately 400,000 people, Brno is the second largest city of the Czech Republic.

Night view of the Wenceslas Square, one of the main city squares and the centre of the business and cultural communities in the New Town of Prague, Czech Republic. There are also many great restaruants on the square such as this italian one, guarded by the bronze fella in front of it.
Šťastné a veselé Vianoce, Tome🎄🎅, pozdravuj Adíka⛄

Moc dekuji, budu:)... Vam taktez!

The Czech Republic is not only about big cities like Prague or Brno, but it’s mostly about small villages. Across the Czech countryside are dozens of villages full of history and this picture was taken in small village on the south of Moravia called Popovice. Church is a dominant of this village.

Silhouette of one of the most well known sculpture of Charles Bridge in Prague. It corresponds to the Crucifix and the Calvary, next to the cross there are the figures of Virgin Mary and John the Evangelist. At the background of the image, you can the the silhouette of the St. Vitus Cathedral on the Castle hill.
