Holy Trinity Column in Olomouc, Czech Republic - World Unesco Heritage Site is not the only gem located in beautiful Northern Moravian city Olomouc. Another monument that makes Olomouc a spectacular place to visit is its Cathedral of Saint Wenceslas. When you visit Olomouc you will realise that it is one of the most striking monuments in the city. The main tower (100.65 m high), the second highest in the Czech Republic, contains the largest bell in Moravia, and the cathedral itself is among the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Central Europe. What a beautiful church! The rock color seems to have changed as they were removing it from the quarry when they built it. I think the brownish color to gray/blue makes it look quite striking.
Besides the beauty of its architecture, the cathedral holds artistic treasures and major historical interest:)
