Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

One of around 80 beautifully decorated wine cellars in Petrov - Plze. One of the famous and visited tourist attractions of the area, the vineyard complex has a tradition dating back to as early as the 15th century. The village of Petrov is located in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert (This is its full name.)
P1090358.JPG
This cathedral is certainly one of the most photographed sights of Prague.
Few of the tourists know that the cathedral was built between the 14th and 20th centuries. And the two beautiful Gothic towers in the foreground were built in 1929 ...
But on my way to Petrin I suddenly saw this look. So I pressed the shutter photo ...
And I like this photo (a bit immature ...)

Actually I love it! What I like even more about it is the whole walk from Petrin Tower towards the castle. What a great spent afternoon just doing that. Also thank you so much for pointing out the whole name. I guess we all learn something new every day:)... Great entry to be featured in today's edition. Have a good one.

Thank you for your appreciation.

Thank you so much for the feature Tomas! :)

Today, I am coming with this shot taken at the historic center of Olomouc. Located on the Morava River, Olomouc is the ecclesiastical metropolis and historical capital city of Moravia. Today, it is the administrative centre of the Olomouc Region and the sixth largest city in the Czech Republic.

Panoramic view of the building of the National Theatre in Prague peeping out from the Vltava River with a bottle of Becherovka in the foreground. Produced in the city of Karlovy Vary, Becherovka is a traditional Czech liquer and a popular alcoholic beverage.

Wallenstein Palace Gardens is a nice place for a walk, and taking a few good pictures.
If you're interested about czech history, you'll find all these panels detailing what the country has been trought, it's a bit long to read everything but worth it, you'll learn a lot.

St. Nicholas Church
This structure was truly amazing with its baroque architecture that makes the city skyline. The intricate design from the main entry door to the inside was indeed fascinating. What a sight! Beautiful and historical. the inside is spectacular, lucky to experience such a soulful experience.

Kostel Svateho Frantiska Z Assisi

I spent a few hours with spiders, full of narrow barriers and dozens of people to see and photograph the city under the most beautiful angle and find myself everywhere and stick to my face to face, I took this huge view of Prague.

Cesky Krumlov
what a fantastic day we have had here. A fantastic tour of the castle, where the bears still guard the castle in the moat. Lovely streets and a very nice atmosphere. Very touristy, but it was more than worth the crowds. There was also a torture museum about the punishments in former times. I felt a little nauseous, but the children loved it

Petrin Tower
Definitely worth going up the Fenicular to the top of the hill and then up the tower. Excellent views of Prague all round. Only downside is that the viewing tower at the top is glass so not the best for photographs. However, you can get photos on the way back down and at the viewing tower half way down.

inside of St. Barbara’s church in Kutná Hora.
This Cathedral seems way too large for small Kutna Hora. Building began in the 14th C when the town rose in prominence due to the silver mining industry. The King established the Royal Mint in the town and it soon became one of the wealthiest towns in Europe. If you look at the walls and windows in the church you will see references to the mining industry everywhere. Ancient frescos show coins being made and silver hammered out. The unique triple spire of the church appears in one of the stained glass windows.

St. Vitus Cathedral Magnificent cathedral
I’m not sure of what captivated us the most about the cathedral: its position amidst the castle square, the detailed gothic style or the myriad of colourful glass windows with their symbols. Shouldn’t be missed.
