Church of St. Thomas, Lesser Town, photographed from the gardens of Prague Castle. Originally a Gothic church from the 13th century. After the fire, it was reconstructed in the Baroque style after 1730. (Architect K.I.Dietzenhofer). It is one of the largest and most beautiful Prague churches. It fits perfectly into the Malá Strana environment.

St. Bartholomew's Gothic Cathedral. This is a large and beautiful building, definitely worth a visit in the cental square of Pilsen. The architecture is impressive and the shops and cafes in the area make for a great stop to catch the view and relax.

Charles Bridge must rate among the most visited bridges in the world. It is a leisurely 10 minute stroll from one side to the other with various monuments along each side of the bridge. There are also local artists and street sellers along the bridge selling their wares. If you just visit one attraction when visiting Prague then Charles Bridge must be the one.

In this photo I show you a detail of the equestrian statue of St. Wenceslas, taken right at the foot of the statue in Wenceslas Square in Prague in August. Behind the beautiful dome of the Narodni Muzeum.

Cesky Krumlov is a beauty. It worth a long weekend. You will enjoy every minutes of your staying. There are a lot of restaurant in the streets with a wide variety of czeck or International foods. You can enjoy the fresh, cold beer in the breweries. There is a spectacular view from the walls of the castle and you can go for different tours according to your interests. If you want to see the city from the water you can rent a raft or canoe for only a half hour or for a day as well.

Located in the tiny South Moravian village of Lednice, some 12 km outside of the town of Mikulov, the Lednice Chateau is a monumental chateau originally built in the 16th century. The current neo-Gothic appearance of the chateau dates back to an extensive reconstruction of the chateau in the 1850s.

Here my entry in your contest after HF20. Photo of one of the most interesting new buildings of Prague. The Dancing House, built in the 90’s, its style is contrast of the buildings in the neighborhood, since they are mainly baroque, neoclassical, etc. The design of this building gives the sensation that is “moving” or dancing”, due to its dynamic lines. The image shows an old tram in front of it.

A picture of the beautiful Old Town square, portraying the Tyn cathedral in the background. I am always amazed at the beauty of the square, and how fantastic the location of the Tyn Cathedral is at the main square, but still kind of hidden away.

View From Prague Castle. Prague Castle is a castle on a pretty hill, where you can not only see the old Prague but also admire the scenery of the beautiful old town. Inside the castle are castles as well as towns. This magnificent cathedral, beautiful gardens, and past lifestyle of the Czechs, this Prague castle is always crowded with tourists. If you want to see old Prague and its beautiful Old Town, you should go to Prague Castle!

The girl with the ocarinas. I am unsure if that musical instrument is somehow related to Czech history but in my mind this character fit the atmosphere of Charles Bridge perfectly. Maybe because I felt like passing through a fairground each time. Of course there were also artists, classical and improvisational musicians, even the Hare Krishna people in pink-orange robes. So almost anything would fit.

The Petrin Tower is a must in Prague! There is so much fun taking the funicular and going all the way up to the top of the tower! The panoramic views of the city are amazing! The tower consists of 299 steps that will take you on two platforms, one lower and one at the top of the tower, so be prepared for a trek! At the tip the view is spectacular, but the platform dances (and not a little!) Is for people who walk there, both for the wind that blows hard at that height. Definitely worth a visit, maybe when you are still resting!

The most picturesque spot in Prague. The Charles bridge is an excellent place for everyone whenever you're around. A beautiful bridge with a lot of pre-wedding shoot happening on it for some reason. Great place to take a few memorable pics. Anytime after 8:30 am, you will see truck loads of tourists here So it is advised to either go early morning or late evening.

Beautiful natural surroundings of the Silver Lake in Opava reflected on the water surface. The lake used to be a gypsum quarry that got flooded by the nearby River Opava in 1964. Soon after the quarry got filled with water, the place became a popular relaxation area for residents of the region and even international visitors from Poland as Opava is located very close to the Czech-Polish border.

More than a month ago I did not have time to go somewhere to take pictures. That's why when I was driving from northern Bohemia I stopped at a beautiful castle in Nelahozeves. This castle is located approximately 35 km north of the center of Prague.
