Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Antarctica. I am also adding World´s Oceans to the same challenge to allow more Steemians to compete in this contest.
See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @marc-allaria with the following entry:
Let's try a jellyfish for this week! This one comes from Tunisia, late in the day during the sunset. Quite hard to shot but it's worth to do it. The place was full of jellyfishes during this summer.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #91 - winner announcement!
@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:
Hiking in Wadi Rum, Jordan. Many people visit Wadi Rum, the most beautiful desert of Jordan, only on a Jeep tour, but there are some beautiful, if hard to find treks. Since my shoes were soaked from a rainy morning in Amman, I decided to go for a walk in my flip-flops, but they broke on the way and I ended up scrambling over these rocks barefoot!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #91 – winner announcement!
@benfenson Australian Monday entry:
Composite image of a bio luminescent wave crashing on the shores of Nelsons Beach in Jervis Bay and a close-up of the Milky Way core. Both photo's were taken on the same night however the core had risen much higher by the time I managed to capture this wave crashing. The sky is 25 photo's stacked for noise reduction and the foreground is a single image.

Epitome of the tropical paradise that you can enjoy on the Holbox Island in Mexico. Located on the north coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, the island is separated from the mainland by 10 km of shallow lagoon that is home to flamingos, pelicans and other rich birdlife. Holbox is also a part of the Yum Balam Biosphere Reserve.
Cozumel is an island and municipality in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, opposite Playa del Carmen. The island is about 48 km long and 16 km wide. It is Mexico's largest Caribbean island.
Wharariki Beach at Sunset, New Zealand
The rock formations at Wharariki Beach are incredible: The stretch of sand in the north of the South Island is a beautiful stretch of land and home to countless animals. I will never forget watching baby seals at Wharariki Beach!

Beautiful view of the bay between Matinloc Island and Tapiutan Island. Whale sharks pass through here every year. These islands and the bay can be found while visiting the Philippines.
The burning sand
Deep calm and colorful sunset at the sandy sunes of Curonian Spit, Lithuania. Humid sea air often causing deep red colors of sunset.
Low shooting point to get more unusual composition and final view
Enjoy it!

Just before the clouds overtook the sky, I get the chance to admire all kinds of colors from the sun going to sleep. I could watch the sky for hours if I could. Love those quiet time alone thinking about nothing. Life is to short, we need to appreciate it the most we can. Would love to be in Cuba right now, maybe soon…
