It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @benfenson with the following entry:
Composite image of a bio luminescent wave crashing on the shores of Nelsons Beach in Jervis Bay and a close-up of the Milky Way core. Both photo's were taken on the same night however the core had risen much higher by the time I managed to capture this wave crashing. The sky is 25 photo's stacked for noise reduction and the foreground is a single image.
What a great contribution from @benfenson to the photo challenge! I have visited @benfenson blog and upvoted his post called Sunsets over the old Cape St George lighthouse. @benfenson amazing entry from Australia is qualifying for the weekly challenge where it will be competing against the previous and upcoming winners of the week:

Hiking in Wadi Rum, Jordan. Many people visit Wadi Rum, the most beautiful desert of Jordan, only on a Jeep tour, but there are some beautiful, if hard to find treks. Since my shoes were soaked from a rainy morning in Amman, I decided to go for a walk in my flip-flops, but they broke on the way and I ended up scrambling over these rocks barefoot!
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of this post and then entered to a monthly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 200 SBD in total. You can give @benfenson your support by upvoting this winner announcement post.
