Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Please make sure to add a proper descritpion to your entry as this was the reason on few occasionas when I could not pick the best image as it had a very poor description. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans, African Wednesday, European Thursday and North American Friday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

This photo shows a night view of Hong Kong. The reflections of the light of the buildings can be seen on the water. The photo was taken at Hong Kong Harbour, one of the most iconic places of this city. Some of the most important skyscraper of the city are located in this area.

@bluebottlefilms Australian Monday entry:

A beautiful sunrise one morning at my local beach, Curl Curl on Sydney's northern beaches. It still surprises me everyday as to how many people living in Sydney still have no idea where it is...

@travelgirl Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

I took this shot during our helicopter ride in Hawaii. The weather was perfect so we took heaps of photos. It seems like the water colour in Hawaii is a bit different to what we have in Australia. It’s was such a great trip!

Inspired by all these epic landscape photos, here is a golden hour shot I took while running on a Stellenbosch Farm in South Africa. I am very privileged to basically have this beautiful route in my back yard.

@thesloopjohnb European Thursday entry:

I very much enjoyed my first trip to Rome, Italy but felt I should have stayed longer. The Forum was amazing, so much so that I returned at night to an overlook spot to take this long-exposure photo. If you look closely, you can even see the Colosseum in the background.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #7 – winner announcement!

@bypaul North American Friday entry:

Last year I travelled to Central America with a friend, in Guatemala we climbed a volcano hoping to see another volcano erupt. On our way there we saw the smoke of an eruption drifting away. We were pretty sad that we missed the eruption, but just a few minutes after we arrived at the viewpoint the volcano erupted again! I will never forget the enormous force of nature I witnessed that day.

This photo shows the Bogota Cathedral. It is one of the finest example of late colonial architecture in South America. It was built at the beginning of the XIX century.
I used an unusual angle to take this photo for composition purposes.

Great shot! Thank you for your continued support in the challenge!

Ilha Grande is a very green island in Brazil. Because it is separated from the land, it is very safe to live here. The nature is amazing and colibri birds fly in a lot of places. It was one of my favorite places when the ship docked during its travel.

Fabulous entry, thank you so much for that!

Taiba Wave Spot, Ceara, Brazil

Famous spot for surfing and kitesurfing, great waves and nice surroundings. Taiba is located in north east of Brazil in Ceara province. Ceara is one of the poorest regions in Brazil, but it offers the best kitesurfing conditions I've ever experienced all over the world.

What a great spot! Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

I had heard a lot of great things about Cartagena, Colombia before I visited...and it turned out they were all true. I fell in love with the vibrant, bright colors inside the Walled City of Old Cartagena. The beauty and history here makes this neighborhood very inviting and welcoming. It's a city I hope to return to at some point to explore even more!

Happy Saturday!
My entry to the contest:
Photo I took during my trip to the Municipality of Morelia, Colombia. The main attraction that motivates locals and tourists is to enjoy the Bodoquero River. Here visitors enjoy a walk along the river in an inflatable canoe.

Thank you very much, sir. Greetings.

A few years ago, I was backpacking around Colombia and Ecuador. I started my trip in Bogota and went all the way down to Ecuador. The Castle Santuario de Las Lajas was my last stop before crossing the border to Ecuador and definitely one of the highlights of my trip.
