If you want to get off an unbeaten path then look no further than Jindrichuv Hradec. The most significant monument of this charming city is its Renaissance chateau that has been its symbol for hundreds of years. The appearance of the city was heavily influenced by the whims and caprices of the aristocratic families residing in the city over the centuries but the most significant imprint on the city was the Renaissance period when Italian masters brought Mediterranean lightness and charm to the picturesque rolling landscape of South Bohemia.
