It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. Sunset sighting over Melbourne city. This was shot from St Kilda, a nice place to spend some time on the beach watching the sun slowly going down while the city burn of saturated colours. It is good to drink wine on the beach during summertime.

This magical sunset was taken in the Antarctic Peninsula in the Charlotte Channel. The light in Antarctica is so beautiful! We were so lucky to have the privilege of visiting during our filming trip for our documentary, The Map to Paradise.

Golden Dunes. Yet next view from Egypt. Pretty amazing panorama of the golden dunes of the Nile, nearby Aswan. Shot from small sailing boat while traveling to small and authentic Nubian village. Still hot, though winter day with even some nice cloud formations making the final view much more interesting. Enjoy it!

Preikestolen, Norway. View down the Preikestolen platform above the Lysefjord-fjord. The rock formation is about 600 meters above the sea level. If you are traveling in Norway this highlight is definately a must visit destination.

Mount Robson is the highest mountain of Rockies, located in British Columbia. When you stop at the visitors center you'll already feel how special it is. Numberous of hikes, viewspots and wildlife, but what a way to start exploring if this is the first thing you see.
