Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Please make sure to add a proper description to your entry as this was the reason on few occasions when I could not pick the best image as it had a very poor description. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of a daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans, African Wednesday, European Thursday and North American Friday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #11 - winner announcement!

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:

This is a view from Kawah Ijen, a volcano located near Banyuwangi in Indonesia. After I climbed to the top and went down into the crater during the night. This was the view I had on my way down as the sun had just rised. Sulfur smokes and fog, other volcanoes and dead trees still standing on the edge of the volcano.

@animebros Australian Monday entry:

The Great Ocean Road is one of the top 5 places to visite in Autralia and it really is not hard to see why. :) These are two of the Twelve Apostles, soft limestone pillars formed by erosion from the Southern Ocean. They are called the 12 Apostles but there were never 12 only 9 at the beginning and since one collapsed in 2005 only 8 remain.

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

Do you think this picture is taken somewhere far north where is always cold? Not this time. This could happen even in Europe and it is actually taken at Baltic Sea, Lithuania during some quite cold period of the winter. Sometimes even here we have temperature dropping to -20 and still with very high humidity. When you even getting some ice under your nose when breathing :)

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #11 – winner announcement!

@exposez African Wednesday entry:

This image was made in one of the parks north of Maun, near Savuti. This one had more flexible rules allowing us to leave before dawn was completely up. That's what allowed me to take this image before the sun reach us, a few seconds later. We were looking for the leopard but this herd of Impalas on this ridge caught my eye.

@bluebottlefilms European Thursday entry:

Ireland is a great place to travel if you like old castles and green rolling hills. We stumbled across this beautiful rundown castle whilst travelling down the south west coast of County Kerry.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #11 – winner announcement!

@schmidthappens North American Friday entry:

I had to feature one of my favorite US cities today: Chicago. I grew up 100 miles north of here and would always love when we visited. I took this photo last year while I visited for work. The skyline near the shore of Lake Michigan is a stunner.

I often post pictures from Rio de Janeiro mostly because it's my favorite South American city. Here's a slightly different view of the city from a harbor with the sugarloaf mountains in the background.

Thank you so much for your entry. Rio is on my list of places to go to:)

A panoramic view of Caracas (Venezuela). These mountains form part of El Ávila National Park. they are higher than 2000 meters above the sea level. They usually are cover with clouds. I stitched 4 photos for producing this panoramic image.

What a view! Stunning.

I took this photo near Riobamba, Ecuador on the way down from El Altar volcano. After what had been the most challenging hike of my life I was rewarded with this amazing view over the Andean Mountains.

So you have North American Fridays and South American Saturdays, but what about the rest of the Americas (Caribbean, Central America)? There are many amazing countries that should not be missed in a world photo challenge!

Hi! Absolutely wonderful pic!

There is quite a bit of confusion which continent Central America belongs to. The geographically correct answer is North America but personally, I feel it should be more part of a South America and therefore be part of South Amrican Saturday. Any opinions anyone?

Great! Maybe the Saturday contest could be called Latin America instead of South America? On the other hand this might not sound as good as South American Saturdays and Latin America technically is not a continent..

I think it could be good in one of the two: just include it in the title.

Above Cartagena, Columbia
Cartagena de Indias is a coastal city with a population of 1,1 million in Columbia. This city was founded in 1533. It's warm all year long and a great place to stay.
Have a great saturday!

Wow, looks just great. Wish to be there right now:)

Me too! Freezing outside here in Germany.

Family fun

This photo was taken in Jericoacoara, Ceara, Brazil. There were a lot of people who were enjoying the dunes in their own ways. Some of them had sandboards and gliding through the sand, others jumping or running down the dunes.

Great, that's life...Thank you for your today's contribution.... Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

Hello Sir @czechglobalhosts

This photo is from a trip to the Coemani indigenous community in the municipality of Solano, the Amazonian region of Colombia. The only means of transport is by boat, on the Caquetá River, surrounded by the exotic landscape and the sound of the thick jungle.

Thanks.

What a wonderful picture. Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas

As there is no Central America Day contest, I believe countries from this region can compete in this category so my entry is this photo of sunset on an empty beach near Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica :)

IMG_20170830_180305.jpg

Hi, yes I feel the same. Those countries should be part of the South American challenge even though geographically they are part of North America. Nevertheless, I am more then happy with the South and if most people agree with that, then we should keep it that way.

I captured this macro photo of pink plumerias in a tropical garden in Ecuador where I spent unforgettable holiday. The country has amazing nature with many beautiful fauna and flora species.

Beautiful flower:).....

Wow! These photos are so amazing!

Wanna go on a bike ride in Shenzhen, China?

Your picture does not qualify in neither way... your entry is short of words and the pic is from Asia, the challenge is South America. Kindly read posts before engaging as this is considered spamming.

This isn't spamming. I read your post and I was NOT trying to qualify for a challenge. I do NOT like challenges! Get over yourself!
