It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge -European Thursday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. There was a very high number of submissions with some amazing pictures so picking the winning image was not an easy task. It is great to see the challenge is gaining in popularity!

However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @nenio with the following entry:
This photo was taken at Trieste port. Part of the city with its hills can be seen and the image it is framed by the ship, which gives an interesting composition. Trieste is in Italy but it has strong Austrian influence this can be noticed by the architecture of the city.
What a great entry by @nenio. I have visited his blog and upvoted his recent post called: El Castillo de Wartburg y Lutero — Fotografías. It's sunday again. Today want to share with you another picture of the Guilin Fisherman. Back in the days they were real cormorant fisherman. Nowadays they work as models for tourists 😜 The riverbed of the Liang River and the famous Karst landscape mountains in the background.

This was taken on our casual 30+km hike around the amazing Arthur's Pass in New Zealand. We started to feel some kind weird vibration/noise and saw that a train is coming behind us, it was really sneaky.

If you say ocean you have to like this view of a sundown as seen from a small fishing boat in front of the French coast. It's amazing how the water reflects the colours - just a magical moment!

Not many people will ever witness this epic view... starting 20km from the closest town, I ran 18km in scorching heat to the top of the Keiskie mountain in the semi-desert region of the Hantam, South Africa, to take this photo.
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of the individual daily winner announcement posts and then entered to a mothly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 150 SBD in total. Nice decision there Tomas. The @nenio post really captured alot. From the curve from the ship which carves out a section of the small town and the hill side houses. These are really great pics. The more i look the more likely i am to pick the other as a winner :)
@extremejogging, i like your effort and all you took just so you could share with us such epic and dope view. You did a great job. And also want to appreciate you for running 18km to take the pic while it was hot. It might not have given a better result if it was taken at another time of the day.
Hardwork pays. Keep up the good work. Your determination will take you places.
@theaustrianguy, i am a fan of pics taken at sunset and to make it more awesome, the snapshot was taken on water. I think sunset is the best time of the day.
@karolisp great pic there. Infinity and beyond. Just be careful so a train doesnt come crushing :)
@justdentist, the first thing i noticed was the mountain and i was really awed. Great background, maybe during the next challenge, we would be glad if you could climb to that mountain if there are not wild animals and if it isnt life threatening. The view would be great. Haha.
