@worldcapture Asian Sunday entry:

Hongkong 2015. Today I share with you a picture which I took a few years ago on my travel in Hongkong. Still to this day I haven't seen anything similar to this concrete jungle. It's crazy how many buildings growing out of the ground in this narrow area.

This photo was taken during the sunset at the northern Chilean city of Antofagasta. Which is one of the main port of the copper exports of the country. You can see how the ships wait their turn to enter in the port. The sunsets at this city usually are nice.

Comino is a very small (and very peaceful) island midway between the islands of Malta and Gozo. The island is inhabited by only a handful of people and is mostly visited for a day trip, both by the Maltese themselves as well as tourists.

One of many beautiful historic buildings found in the center of Dresden, the capital city and, after Leipzig, the second-largest city of the Free State of Saxony in Germany. Situated in a valley on the River Elbe, near the border with the Czech Republic, Dresden is distinguished by its celebrated art museums and classic architecture of its reconstructed old town.

Photo of the Slovenian city of Pirano (or Piran), practically it is the only piece of coast of this European country. The city has a large Venetian influence along its history, which is reflected in its architecture. The photo shows the port and the main square: Tartini square, named after the famous Baroque composer and violinist.

Today I'm sharing a world of snow and mountains. This is at the ski resort Ischgl, in Austrian Alps. Except for skiing, there are hiking possibilities, mountain bike trails and adventure park water playground. The town is also known for its lively après-ski scene. Trails in the surrounding mountains lead to breathtaking Alpine lakes.

Fontana di Trevi, Rome. It´s always busy but I was able to get to the fountain, throw in my coin and all get pictures. There are police officers who cares about not to throw the coins into the fountain. I like it there, such a romantic place. My last visit was special because of one couple. I was standing really close to them. The man asked her for her hand with such a shiny ring I have never seen before. She was craying and said YES! Big applause! ( Yes, I was crying too).

Formerly known as Queenstown until 1920, Cobh is a historic gem of Ireland. 2.5 of the 6 million Irish immigrated to North America through Cobh, including Annie Moore, who was the first person to be processed on Ellis Island.

Did you know that Matterhorn, Switzerland is the most photographed photo in the world?
I took this photo while being on skiing vacation last year in Zermatt, Switzerland.
The view of Matterhorn just never gets boring. :)

The morning Doves

That was an early summer morning last year in Larnaca, Cyprus. As quite often I can't miss the possibility to make some sunrise shots if seaside is actually very close to the hotel. So that morning I walked to Larnaca Castle for some seascapes catching rising sun. When all was done, suddenly somebody brought some bread for the doves, and appeared they are too many at this spot just were waiting on the roof.
Well, that maybe some crazy dream of some photographers to play with doves trying to catch them starting to fly when you approaching

Afterall the final result isn't so bad :)

Enjoy it!

This week I have one more shot from Greece! Skopelos is an amazing island that attracts very few tourists and definitely qualifies as one of the hidden jewels of the Aegean Sea! Ideal for snorkeling, diving or hiking it would definitely win a place in your heart, if you ever visit it!

Delphi is a town at the foot of Mount Parnassus, in the south of Greece. This is where the Temple of Apollo, built in the fourth century BC, once housed a legendary oracle, stood. This vast archaeological complex located on the mountainside contains the remains of the sanctuaries of Apollo and Athena Pronaia, as well as an ancient stadium and amphitheater.
