Czech Republic struggling with heavy snowfalls
Hi everyone!
In the recent years, the Czech Republic has been experiencing very mild winters with rare snowfalls but this winter has been a different story so far. Just like most other countries in Central Europe, my homeland has been struggling with massive snowfalls and freezing temperatures.

While the current weather has been causing a lot of troubles to the Czech citizens (thousands of households have been left without power, many flights have had to be canceled etc.), it comes with some benefits too. Fans of winter sports have been enjoying excellent conditions for their favorite hobbies and photographers take spectacular shots of what can only be described as the true winter wonderland.
Let me show you what Prague looks like when covered with a fresh layer of snow.

If you are planning to visit the Czech Republic these days, make sure to bring a lot of warm clothes with you. Also, if you take some nice photos there, feel free to submit them in my daily Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge ;)
