Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @kekos with the following entry:

Lake Wakatipu is an inland lake in the South Island of New Zealand. With a lenght of 80 km, it is New Zealand's longest lake. Lake Wakatipu comes from the original Mãori word Whatatipu wai-mãori.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@amyalfatasya Asian Sunday entry:

The island located on the Indonesian border is the island of Sabang. This small island saves a million natural beauty. A stunning beach, and underwater beauty that makes this island very crowded with foreign tourists. A photo that I took on the Ujoeng beach kareung at sunrise some time ago on Sabang island.

Lake Monowai is a large lake (31 km²) in the southern part of Fiordland National Park, in New Zealand's South Island. At an altitude of 180 metres in a long curved valley, the lake appears on maps shaped like a letter "U". The western part of the lake is set in beautiful mountainous country.

What a stunning image! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.

Rocks on Wahariki Beach, New Zealand

Wahariki beach is my favourite beach in New Zealand. This vast stretch of coast displays natural beauty in so many ways: Beautiful rock formations reflect in the water, mighty waves clash against the shore and baby sea lions learn to crawl.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Nice arch hiding in the background! Excellent shot!

A beautiful morning sunrise from my closest beach in Sydney. We are pretty lucky to have some beautiful beaches so close to the city to escape to when the weather gets warm.

Beautiful as always! Thank you so much.

Boat tour near Cathedral Cove / NZ
We spontanously decided to do a half-day boat tour along the coastline - starting in Whitianga. Even though we didn't have bright sunshine, the tour was amazing.
The photo shows one of the smaller bays. The stone formations looked really cool, the water appered turquois closer to the shore and we even did see dolphins:)

Thank you so much for your wonderful entry and participation. Have a great day.

Sunset In Brisbane, Australia. A picture from the balcony of the shared house I was living in Brisbane. The sun is setting over the Mount Coot-Tha. The Brisbane River can even be seen on the bottom left.

Beautiful orange color. I might use it:)....

From the top of Christchurch hills, the view over the bay is wonderful. On a rainy day, you can see the distinction between the blue sky and the grey clouds.
It is much appreciated to be high above the city and take some time to relax with such a view.

Warrumbungles Milkyway.jpg

A sixteen shot panorama of the milky way over the Warrumbungles. The area has little light pollution to disturb astronomical viewing and is home to the Siding Spring observatory which is has more than a $100 million in scientific equipment including 44 telescopes. The largest is the Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT), a 3.9-metre equatorially mounted telescope, sits at an altitude of a little over 1,100 m and was ranked in 2009 as the fifth highest-impact of the world's optical telescopes. Arthurs Pass NZ under the snow

mt r.png

New Zealand! The most beautiful place on Earth where green forests lead to rock and snow. Blue blue sky keeps us staring up and everything is great, for now. Sidways rain here is common so enjoy the perfect weather while it lasts!

Original photo and this is also on my blog @snowyknight.

I still need to make my way to NZ... It sure must be worth it!

Heck yeah! It is!

Thanks again Tomas for everything you are bringing to the #Steem Blockchain.
