Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.
See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:
My best memories from Australia are these well spent evening sitting around a fire right in the middle of nowhere. Random places in the outback where I decided to spend the night and enjoy the twighlight... A lifetime experience :)

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@intrepidphotos Asian Sunday entry:
Shot from a hotel bar in Shinagawa. It's looking North towards Tokyo Tower (332.9 metres or 1,092 ft). At the time of construction in 1958 Tokyo Tower was the tallest freestanding tower in the world, taking the title from the Eiffel Tower by 13 metres. Depending on where you draw the boundaries there are between 9 million and 38 million people living in Tokyo. The prefecture forms part of the world's most populous metropolitan area of 37.8 million people.

Lake Wakatipu is an inland lake in the South Island of New Zealand. With a lenght of 80 km, it is New Zealand's longest lake. Lake Wakatipu comes from the original Mãori word Whatatipu wai-mãori.
Truly awesome! Well done.
Frenchman Peak, Western Australia
On our way to the Frenchman Peak in the Cape Le Grand Nationalpark near Esperance, Western Australia I took this shot with the Peak in the distance. Cape Le Grand is still one of my favorite Parks in Australia.
Wonderful image, thank you for sharing.
thanks Tomas
Another amazing sunset over the ocean at Scarborough Beach in Perth Western Australia. After a day at the beach swimming and relaxing it's the best spot for some afternoon beers and watch the sun go down. The sunsets here are always beautiful !
Wow, what a great capture!
Thanks for the selection today ! Appreciate the support.
Australia shot for today is a full Easter moon rising at sunset over a lonely tree perched atop one of the salty hills the make up the Lake Mungo Lunette. Known as the Walls of China, the lunette is formed by wind blowing over the dry lakebed for thousands of years. It is found on the eastern edge of Lake Mungo which dried up some 14,000 years ago. Outback NSW, Australia. Taken as a single shot.
Very well deserved!
Sydney Opera House
While I visited Sydney in August 2016, the summer Olympics were held in Rio. In support of the Australian team the Sydney Opera House was lit up which made for some spectacular nigh-time shots.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
What a great colors and different perspective of the Opera House. Well done!
Thanks!
On top of the lookout from Cabarita Beach in New South Wales, Australia.
Cabarita Beach is known for its surfing, but it is also a great place to enjoy a picnic with view on the ocean. Andif you're lucky, you can even enjoy some whale watching.
Thank you so much for your entry, kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today.
Did you know that manta rays are closely related to sharks? Both are considered elasmobranchs because of their cartilage skeletons and both consist of 5-7 gill slits. In many ways, rays are just flattened sharks.
Magnificent animal! Thank you so much for your great image and some useful info.
They are beautiful animals!
It took me a few tries to get this split shot of the island Kri in Raja Ampat, in West Neuguinea. This is the house reef which can be reached within few minutes and is perfect for snorkling.
Great capture, I like how it is dived under and above the water level.
Australian national parks hides some very nice places to visit around which you can spend very relaxing times. I personally loved hanging around the waterfalls and sometimes swim in the pool. Here is a great one, the Mackenzie fall located in the Grampians NP defenetly is a place to see!
Location: The Grampians NP, Australia.
Thank you so much for your participation.
Southern Alps, New Zealand from the West
Green green to white ice. Beautiful as bro! The Southern Alps climb up and yield nothing but rock and sky and ice.... stunning as! Enjoy the views but cloudless days are few and far between.
This is also on my blog @snowyknight.
