Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:

Amazing underground spaces, an extensive network of corridors leading to the bottom of our most famous abyss (Macocha). Navigation on the underground river, illumination, fantastic formations. There is always good in the Moravian Karst. Only some "fools" traders in Krash are a bit degraded by access.

I rewarded @rockmen entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Night photo taken at the Old Town Square in Prague. In the foreground there is the famous astronomical clock, also known as Prague orloj. It was built in the XV century. In the background of the image there is the Church of Our Lady before Týn built in Gothic style.

I think it is a time to post a B&W image for a change and this is just a great choice. Well done. Have a great day. Tomas

I am glad that you liked it. I resteemed your post.
Thank you.

View of a picturesque valley and a part of Hradec nad Moravici, a tiny Silesian town, as seen from a lookout spot next to the famous Hradec nad Moravici Chateau. As you can see in this photo, the autumn colors are already prevailing in the Czech countryside.

View of Narodni Dum (translates as the National House) - one of the most important buildingds found in the historic center of Hradec nad Moravici, a small Silesian town famous for the Hradec nad Moravici Chateau Complex. The town is located in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the country.

Symbol of the city, the Charles Bridge also has a rich historical past. With a total length of 517 meters, the bridge also houses many statues (the statue of St Joeph and the baby Jesus, Pieta or that of Jean Nepomucene is the oldest). In addition, a tower protects each end of the bridge. However, it is better to be patient to access especially during the tourist season. Despite this, the Charles Bridge is well worth the detour and also offers the opportunity to make beautiful pictures. So, have a good trip!

In this picture I show you one of the domes of the church of Tyn in the Old Town Square in Prague, seen on the reverse side reflected in a pool of water on the square.

Leaving Early s.jpg

Fragments of Night. Small details and lighting are such an unobtrusive but decisive part of the atmosphere of a place. The orange to purple gamma of Prague's nights brings a nice serene feeling that makes walks feel a bit more magical or fay. Lamp ornaments, staircases, electric signs, cobblestones - things of long ago (except for electricity) that still fit there perfectly.

There are so many spiers of towers in Prague that a person who wants to count them will live forever in Prague. There are a lot of them. You have no idea how good the weather is there. Cool but warm summers and mild winters. There are very ramantichny people there, so if you want to start a family, then you will not regret going to Prague

There is no one complete Bohemia until they see the Moravian Karst! Beautiful rock formations, fascinating caves. For the kids super sports - the beautiful House of Nature. Well-run organization. We used a cable car, a train and a walking walk to pass at least part of the Moravian Karst. The most beautiful punk cave with a ride and Macocha!

Main entrance, Premonstratensian Monastery in Strahov, Dlabačov, Prague
P1090344.JPG
The monastery was founded by a Czech monarch in 1140. All the styles from Romanesque to Baroque were here.
The Baroque rebuilding was the last one, so today the monastery looks mostly baroque.
The library and the art gallery are famous ...
(Oh the ubiquitous cars and traffic signs ... Prague is a lively city, not a museum.)
