Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #98 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa

• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @axeman with the following entry:

Abu Dhabi Highlights. Obviously Dubai is much more famous by it's skyscrapers architecture and mighty Burj Khalifa as a flagman. Though Abu Dhabi (actually the most richest Emirate) has a lot enough examples of stunning sky architecture as well. And really looking like some kind of spaceships at the starting place... Shot very close to sunset on a golden hour colors with up perspective giving a lot of vertical dynamics. Enjoy the scenery and the colors!

Ridge turrets on a Chinese temple.
At the number of ridge turrets you can recognize the importance of a Chinese temple or building. There is always an odd number of figures on the roof, starting with 3 and ending with 13. 13 ridge turrets will classify a building with a very high importance.

This is Goreme, in the Capadocia region, Turkey. A village located in a National park, known by its amazing landscape. The rocky formations that can already be seen here in the vicinities, and stretch for miles, seem from another planet!

My entry:
This is the hometown of my son's father. We lived here 7 years since we got married and then I left them for greener pasture. This is the the Port of Panabo City Davao Del Norte Philippine on the front side. This area is a fond of prawn and selected fish. It is canned for International Market. We also able to buy crabs here. We usually came here during early night.
Thank you @czechglobalhost

The view from the top of the Kaminoyama Castle in Kaminoyama Onsen Japan.
This castle is now a museum with lots of old artifacts and exhibits. As you walk your way through the three storeys, at the top level you can walk out on the balcony which over looks the city.

Kurashiki is a Japanese city known for its neighborhood of old houses. The old city is located near the canal and it is made of warehouses, which was the commercial district of the time which is now called the Bikan. It's a quiet little town perfect for a few hours getaway.

View from Pidurangala, Sri. Lanka

After a long day travelling from Anuradhapura to Sigiriya with stops at the temples of Mihintale and the caves paintings of Dambulla, I had little time left to make it up Pidurangala rock for sunset. Having arrived at my hostel, I was looking for a bicycle to get to the start of the hike, and some amazing Sri Lankans lent me their bike and I made it up just in time. When I returned the bike, they didn't want any money and even invited me for dinner. Sri Lankan people are awesome!

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Yes, Sri Lankan people are unique in their humanity and friendliness. I love Sri Lanka and the climb to Pidurangala is challenging. Dogs from the valley went up the mountain with us.

The Red Fort

The Red Fort is located in Capital city of India, Delhi. The name Red Fort is because of the massive Red stand stones used in the construction. The For was built in Mughal Empire Rule in Undivided India.
The picture is of the entrance where Indian national flag will be hoisted by Indian Prime Minister every year on August 15th.

Marmaris Sunrise

Deep colors of early morning sunrise at the southern coast of Turkey in Marmaris. That's always an issue to wake up very early to catch sunrise, but while on vacation and the hotel is just at the shoreline, that becomes a bit easier indeed.
This morning I walked pretty far away trying to find better composition

Enjoy the scenery!

This is a small lake known as reflection lake on which the peak of Nanga Parbat can be seen, unfortunately it was a windy day and the water wasn't settling so couldn't take that exotic picture

Here is a night shot of the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore taken from the Marina Bay Sands after an evening storm. The view is fantastic, as is the whole city state of Singapore!
