Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #48 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

I was exploring the caves in Petra Jordan were people used to live and I came across this one cave that had a window with a awesome view. I was there during winter so it was cold out side but surprisingly inside the caves was alot warmer. Petra is an amazing place to explore! So many cool caves to check out.

As a national symbol of Cambodia, Angkor Wat is the country’s prime attraction that draws a large number of visitors all year round. It's even printed on the national flag. Despite the crowds, watching sunrise over the towers is an unforgettable experience for me. Enjoy this beautiful scene right after the sunrise!

That is such a stunning image!

Congratulations!

Prayer time before the night.

Right in the middle of the Himalayan ranges, there are small villages away from everything and yet they all have a Stupa for people to pray. I was witnessing this man spinning clockwise around it as the sun almost disappeared beging the mountains.

Thank you, always hard to get back from well spent holidays. Have a nice one too :)

This is the aerial display of one of the beautiful islands in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. This is Tailana island which is in a small island group in Banyak island sub-district, Aceh Singkil district.

Tailana Island is a tourist paradise that has not been crowded with tourists in Indonesia, which is now being promoted by the Aceh Singkil government. Although not so popular, now the beautiful island has become a visit of foreign tourists to enjoy the beauty of the beautiful beach.

Petra, Jordan
I took this picture on my travel through Jordan, in the Petra Rockcity area. The landscape and and construction of the buildings is something very rare to see and breathtaking beautiful. When ever you go there make sure to spend at least 2 days there as the area is quite big and there are also many mountains to hike on.

Thank you so much for your today's entry. Have a great day.

Thank you too Tomas! Hope u have a great day as well!

Asian sunset, somewhere near the coast in Ao Nang region, Thailand.I love the way these rock formations appear out of nowhere in the middle of the water. I'm pretty sure there's a name for the first rock formation on the left... but can't remember it! Turtle rock maybe?

Boats in Pokhara in Nepal. This city is very good place to relax after trekking, you can rent a boat and see city from different point of view. When weather is good from Pokhara is beautiful view of Himalayas.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great start of the week. Tomas

I went to paanch pokari(five ponds) for trekking in Nepal. It is a new trekking route. It is situated in Sindhupalchowk. I was not expecting the journey to be that tough. Oh god, It was snowing heavily. And that was a surprise to me. But oh boy, the route was damn difficult. After reaching the destination it was all worth. Just have a look and prove me wrong.

That sure is an impressive place. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.

Twin Lagoon, Coron, Philippines
Going inside the Twin Lagoon you'll be impressed by the massive jagged cliffs. Your boat will dock in the first lagoon. As for the second lagoon, you will have to swim or climb up a ladder to arrive there. You can see Coron is not as touristy as other parts of the country - there's not many people here at the time and the water is as smooth as glass.

You can read more about Coron including an itinerary and some idea of costs on my #letsgoto: Coron blog: https://steemit.com/travelfeed/@suitcasemama/letsgoto-coron-philippines

What an amazing place that is. Truly wonderful.
