WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #16 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia. If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and the best 10 posts will get my upvote. I will then pick the best picture of that day that I will highlight in the separate post next day to bring the winner some extra publicity and personally visit the blog of that Steemian and upvote his/her most recent post. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically be entered into other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out approximately $2100 in upvotes and 315 SBD in rewards.
After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.
• Australia and New Zealand
• Antarctica + the world’s oceans

This is a favorite memory of mine from almost 9 years ago. This is a sunrise in Muscat, Oman after spending the night sleeping under the stars. It was so wonderfully warm for a pleasant night's sleep. I loved my visit to Oman, from the architecture to the people to the incredible natural beauty. I just wish I took more photos!

Great pic Matt! Thank you so much for your support.
It happened in Thailand, in the Andaman Sea. At the very end of the dive I saw a sea turtle. She swam from coral to coral and did not notice my presence. Turtles are very calm, if you do not touch them. I swam next to her doing a frame-by-frame. At some point a flock of small fish swept past us. It lasted just a couple of seconds. I managed to make only one photo.

The Two Pagodas in Guilin
The Guilin area is famous for its Karst Landscape with the funny looking hills all over the place. You find the Longji Rice Terraces in the north and Yangshuo in the south. We had a wonderful time exploring this area. One of the main attractions in the city are the two Pagodas, which are lid at night.
Hey, great shot! Did you like the tasty local food?
Oh yes I did. A lot of yummy noodles and rice dishes!
Great pic! Thank you so much for your submission! Tomas
Kiyumizudera in Kyoto, Japan
Kiyumizudera is one of the main temple in Kyoto and a most see place if you visit here. At night time you are able to enjoy a great view, hectic city lights flickering behind ancient atmosphere

Adjacent to the Sulu Sea in the Philippines lies Danjugan Island. Excellent conservation management has allowed this island to flourish with beautiful birds and abundant marine life. It is one of the best kept secrets in the Philippines.

Here I’ve visited many times in different seasons in a year to work on landscape photography .
As I was at here , it was so windy and very cold out there in -10 degree .
But I was very impressed that I was able to see this stunning view in front of my eyes.
Thank you for your entry and your participation. What a great image. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas

Mother Nature has blessed my home state Kerala, India also know as 'Gods own Country' with lush green everywhere. This is a very typical scene back in my hometown. I will take every opportunity I get to show how beautiful my country is. India known to most foreigners as a country of busy roads, poor , cows walking on the road. But I would love to show a different side. Kerala is one of the best tourist destinations in the World
I love your entry. Thank you so much for your submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Toas
Thank you Tomas !
A view on the Himalayas, the gigantic snowcapped mountains rising behind the hills. They look close but that's only an illusion. They are still far out of town, just enough to get a wonderful scenery when you are standing on Pokhara's roofs.
Location: Pokhara, Nepal.
Stunning image. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on today. Tomas
