7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #8- the absolute winner takes 150 SBD!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday- where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Africa.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

It's sunday again. Today want to share with you another picture of the Guilin Fisherman. Back in the days they were real cormorant fisherman. Nowadays they work as models for tourists 😜 The riverbed of the Liang River and the famous Karst landscape mountains in the background.

This was taken on our casual 30+km hike around the amazing Arthur's Pass in New Zealand. We started to feel some kind weird vibration/noise and saw that a train is coming behind us, it was really sneaky.

If you say ocean you have to like this view of a sundown as seen from a small fishing boat in front of the French coast. It's amazing how the water reflects the colours - just a magical moment!

This is just one of many pictures I took in Rwanda - Burundi when I went back to visit in 2003, was working there in 94 during the genocide. Worked on building a laboratory trawler for UN/FAO they could use on Lake Tanganyika to determine the fishing possibilities as a protein source.
This picture is showing that kids still can play, it is same that it never happened even that my nightmares tell me otherwise.

I've submitted a version of this location before for Africa, but I stumbled across a panoramic shot that really showcases where this is built. This is Casbah d'If, just outside of Marrakech, Morocco. The landscape and casbahs throughout the entire country are so incredible. I've been lucky enough to visit Morocco twice and would love to go back again!

Here is my entry for Africa..I took this picture from the bus taking a tour in Safari area in South Africa. I like this tree so much. There were animals around us. We just passed by them. And the nature was amazing..

Not many people will ever witness this epic view... starting 20km from the closest town, I ran 18km in scorching heat to the top of the Keiskie mountain in the semi-desert region of the Hantam, South Africa, to take this photo.
Great shot! That view really is incredible! Not to mention that's a long run to do in scorching heat!
