Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Africa.

Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Definitely of of the main tourists visiting locations in Egypt - Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Located on the west bank of the Nile not far from Luxor and close to also famous Valley of Kings. Built for 18 dinasty of pharaoh Hatshepsut and considered to be one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt". Truly amazing place to visit when you see all those mountains and "hand made" piece of art made from the stones and in the stones... Enjoy the scenery :)

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Yulong River, Yangshuo. Staying by the Yulong river in Yangshuo is so relaxing. The landscape is really amazing and in the evening when there are no bamboo rafts on the river you will have it for your own.

Lamington National Park, Australia. Just recently we´ve spent a weekend in the Lamington Nationalpark in the Gold Coast hinterland. This shot isn´t from the Nationalpark but from our accommodation just a stone throw away. We had the perfect view on the sunset from or little cabin.

I've seen places you won't believe it exists and Indonesia is one of them. I loved hanging out in Uluwatu beach for the sunset, watching the last surfer in the water riding incredible waves as the sky turned into purple tones... Heaven definitely exist :)

We stopped to watch the sun rise over the Sahara desert on our way to Abu Simbel from Aswan in Egypt. Im pretty sure the main reason our driver stoped was for a toilet break but it was good timeing for us ☺

Pretty well known combination of one large and three small pyramids - a part of famous pyramids of Giza, Egypt. Shot at noontime, but quite cloudy winter day two years ago with a tele-photo lens. From the left you can see the city of Giza
Actually shot through the window of moving bus, so final result not so bad indeed

The temple of Isis in Philae, Egypt is one of the major sanctuaries of the goddess. The construction began by Nectanebo I, Pharaoh of the 30th Dynasty, and ended by the Romans. This is the ultimate place of worship of the goddess; around the year 530, the closing of the temple is ordered by Emperor Justinian.

Here we have our typical holiday picture of southern regions — in my case it has been taken in Tunisia years ago...! I had not been a fan of hot climate so I loved the company of these charming mushroom-like umbrellas a lot :)
I wish the palm tree were fully in the picture ~ yet even as it is same adds much to the ˋwarm flair´ of the photograph... & somehow even makes me long for pineapples which normally are not my favorite fruits at all ~ 😄✨ ~ !
