View of the Dancing House, arguably the most famous modernist structure in Prague. It was designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot. The building was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996.

What could be more bewitching than Prague at the twilight hour...! This is an impression from a few years ago taken on the bridge when the horizon was tinted in gold and star-seed magic :) The lamppost provides some extra contrast and historic flair among the city’s typical silhouette further in the distance ~ I surely could not be happier to have found such nice picture lurking among my old files of the ˋGolden City´.

The most important holiday in Prague is the walk and enjoyment of the city itself. It contains a large number of monuments of architecture and art, various artistic styles are exchanged. This contrast is probably not where. Baroque, modern, renaissance - all this can be found in Prague. One that is worth dancing house, Charles Bridge, a great clock on the square, Prague Castle and many other unique places to visit and just relax.

Photo of the National Theater in Prague. It was built in the middle of the XIX century in Neo-Renaissance style. I consider it a beautiful and interesting building. During my visit of Prague the exterior of the building was under a restarting works. The tram in the image gives an interesting contrast to the photo.

The dancing house has been in this competition at least a hundred times! But I did not shoot him yet ...
So here I'm pointing it over the Jirásek Bridge. To see that it was built on the seafront.

A huge group of swans that came for food from people to the shore of the Vltava River in the center of Prague. This place where the swans usually gather can be found just under the old Railway Bridge near Vysehrad.

The colorful Olomouc. During my bicycle touring I passed through some beautiful cities, one of them being Olomouc, where for sure a bit of my heart stayed on those colorful narrow streets. I'll be back Czech Republic!

Thousand times shared Prague Castle is almost an evergreen in this comment section. And yet, every new picture has something to offer. This pic was taken nearby the rushy castle "square" where me and my sis chilled out in the suuuperhot summer day.

View of the St. Hedwig´s Church, one of the most important modernist architectural landmarks of my Czech hometown of Opava. Built between 1933 and 1937, the church is considered one of the greatest works of the prominent Silesian architect Leopold Bauer. Easily recognizable by its unusual, pyramid-like appearance, the church is dedicated to St. Hedwig (also known as Hedwig of Silesia), a famous Duchess of Silesia who lived in the late 12th and early 13th century.

Church of St.Georg, Hloubětín, Prague. Prague, of course, has grown in the past. Where there are industrial peroferies today, there once used to be agricultural settlements. One of these settlements was Hloubětín. Until today, the church of St.George, which dates back to 1217, was preserved. Of course, the church was rebuilt and renovated. We can find traces of all architectural styles from early Gothic to Socialist Realism.
