Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #27 – winner announcement!

@justdentist Asian Sunday entry:

Cormorant Fisherman in China. Here is one of my favorite photos from our trip to China last year. I also featured it in my "Faces of China" post. If you take part in Tomas, aka @czechglobalhosts, contest for a longer period of time, you'll might have seen some photos of the fisherman. After being a fisherman for several decades he now mainly works in the tourist industry as a model. I guess it's kind of a win-win-situation for him and tourists like us. He's wearing his traditional outfit. Once in a lifetime experience! Have a great week everybody.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #27 – winner announcement!

@bluebottlefilms Australian Monday entry:

This photo is from Rottnest Island in Western Australia. The island is commonly called "Rotto" in Australia, we tend to abbreviate everything over here. It's a beautiful island that is protected and famous for it's healthy population of quokkas.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #27 – winner announcement!

@narchuk Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

Sunset in the sea can have another meaning. When not only the sun but you yourself plunges into the water. The sky on the surface explodes with bright clouds. And the underwater world is completely transformed. The daily inhabitants hide and fall asleep. They are replaced by nocturnal creatures. All this process is not long at all. Less than an hour is required for nature to completely change over to another state. If I succeed, I always try to spend this time in or near water. Especially if it's as nice and warm as the Philippines. Of all the places where I was, there are some of the most beautiful sunsets.

I was lucky enough to take a train from Harare, Zimbabwe to a nature and wildlife conservancy in Wedza, about 90 minutes away. It was a great ride on a vintage train, watching the big, busy city fade away into the landscape of the photo below. Of course, the conservancy itself was amazing, seeing all sorts of animals, but the journey getting there was just as memorable!

Our caravan on the way to the main camp, deep into the Erg Chebbi dunes of Sahara. At sunset, the desert color transforms from yellow to orange and shadows begin to creep up all around as the sun hangs lower on the horizon. It is a very silent and peaceful journey to the camp, where soon we will drink Moroccan mint tea, eat traditional tagine and warm up around the fire as we wait for Milky Way to appear.

Acacia Trees of Deadvlei, Namibia

Deadvlei was once nourished by the Tsauchab River, which drained into the area and supported life. At some point in its distant history, perhaps one thousand years ago, Deadvlei was actually underwater. The Tsauchab flooded the area, creating shallow pools with a clay pan underneath. In that lush, river-fed environment, plant life, even trees, proliferated. Acacia trees flourished, their sweet fragrance perfuming the air.

Thank you so much for this wonderful post! Truly stunning!

Marrakech is a must-visit city during a trip to Morocco. I have excellent memories, others a little more controversial, but I highly recommend spending a day or two in Marrakech when you have the chance to visit Morocco.
The little brass souk, which shines with a thousand shines, is wedged between souk Smata and souk Attarine.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas

Namibia....
One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The desert breeze on the face, all around sand dunes as big as mountains. Then the water.
Life flows calm and slow. Flamingos looking for food in a sea of sand.

Thank you so much for your participation and contribution to the challenge. Have a good one. Tomas

Sahara - every kid knows the name of this huge desert in Northern Africa. When I was planning on visiting Morocco, I made sure to include the Sahara on my itinerary and these two guys provided me with a perfect motive!

What a wonderful image! Truly magnificent! Thank you for that.

Hmmm which animal is this?
It is a caracal. This cat reaches from 40 to 50 centimeters and weights from 8 to 18 kilograms. They are native for Africa, as well to Central Asia and Middle East.
We had opportunity to see him at Emdoneni Cheetah Project in South Africa. I hope he is one of them, which are already in the wild now…

Nice, in Afrikaans we call them "Rooikat" literally "Red Cat".

Didn't know that yet :)
Thanks for sharing :)

Looks cute:).....

Hello @czechglobalhosts I feel do privileged partaking in this
Statues are important part of human culture and history.
Here's a picture of a statue I took few days back after leaving a shopping mall close to my apartment in school:
PicsArt_03-28-04.30.34.jpg
I think this statue was built to commemorate an historical African event in Akwa-ibom state, Nigeria and exhibited in a cool outdoor space.
Hope you like my entry boss😀

Victoria falls Zimbabwe. This photo is taken during our helicopterflight. We were there in october, the waterfall was not full of water, but still very beautiful. I like to go back another time.

That must have been one hell of the experience! Thank you for sharing. Tomas

Sunrise in Mauricius was awsome, luckily we were on the eastern part of the island, so we could catch the beautiful sun rising from the Indian Ocean. We woke up veeery early just to see the moment and take this foto and then a bit of sleep again.
Ahoj!
