Hmmm which animal is this?
It is a caracal. This cat reaches from 40 to 50 centimeters and weights from 8 to 18 kilograms. They are native for Africa, as well to Central Asia and Middle East.
We had opportunity to see him at Emdoneni Cheetah Project in South Africa. I hope he is one of them, which are already in the wild now…
Nice, in Afrikaans we call them "Rooikat" literally "Red Cat".
